Hey, how would you make this weapon but for a monster?

Get the clips out and remove the weapon from the model holding it. Then put it in the hand of your DP.

That works. But you'd have to file off the hands. And that's the plastic DP. If you wanted to lengthen it use some plasitcard or something for the main handle.

Like I said, just clip it off that model and then put it on yours. No need to file the hands, fingers are easy enough to make out of GS. Just take off maybe 2 joints and model them around the weapon.
Use plasticard or gak from around the house to extend the length of the blade and the length of the handle to scale it up.


If you are asking how to craft that specific weapon from scratch only scaled up to a DP, then you'll need to build a skeleton out of plasticard to start out. Make the general shape and then build the details of the weapon from GS or use bitz with GS to cover the joins.

I did. Honestly the easiest thing to do would be to purchase the model and then clip the weapon as well as extend the haft and blade. I get the sense that isn't what you want to do though.


If you are looking for swords that can easily be put in the DP hand, well it comes with a sword and an axe already that are very nice looking.

seriuosly go look in a toy shop scythes shouldn´t be that hard to find... there are lots of farm related stuff in the shops and for a more gothic feel there are also some companys that sell demon and fairy stuff...

How about using a Scything Talon from one of them Tyranids? You could cut off the blade, trim it down around the Hilt and you should have a decent-looking blade.

If you're in for the task, for the shaft, maybe you could make your own by bending a piece of metal, and adding GS to it to make it look more Chaos-like?

Anyway - I'd scratch it out of styrene tubes and plasticard. Adding GS details like the pustules.

This is pretty much the way to do it. And its not THAt hard to scratch things from plastic tubes/lpasticard

I would make it from a piece of plasticard cut into the shape of a scythe then just get a piece of brass tubing. use greenstuff to add watever you want to it.

Building 2 handed weapon poses from scratch can be really really annoying. Unless you know rudimentary GS techniques then its very doubtful you will pull it orr.
