Figured I would share a conversion I did for my Chaos Space Marine Lord Captain. I just combined the scythe from Typhus and the body from the chaos space marine lord. Nothing fancy but when I saw the two figures all snugg next to each other on the on the display my creative side started to burn the image into my head and I bought them. The base ss from the Citadel basing kit, I thought it was appropriate for this model. I'll update more soon when I splash some color on him. I tend to paint my chaos minions more to the darker shades, I grew up learning the dark arts from the images of John Blanche and his art work. My friend Grey Death One can tell you I'm not one for speed LOL...

To agroszkiewicz, yeah it was a pretty messy mold line. That's why the top of the blade is bare still as I wanted to prime the rest of the model and grind that out then touch up the top. Some times you notice mold lines after you prime so I may have a few more I missed, but thanks for the eye

Hi All, Back with an update. I've added the base coat w/ my airbrsh (Gore Red -GW) and brush detailed the Gold trim (polished Gold - Vallejo GC). I've decided to do the flesh base with dead flesh from Vallejo GC then I applied Thraka Green wash to it. I plan on dry brushing a little pale flesh on and see what effect I get. I'm going to go really dark on this guy. My next step is to apply a badab black wash to the gold to grim it up. Then drybrush blood red onto the red armor bits then apply badab black wash to the recessed areas only.
