Obviously I wouldn't be able to resist the lure of the new DEldar minis - far too pretty. So here's what I have so far - not much as the painting mood hasn't been with me of late:
Wytches - pretty cool, if a tad butch in the arms, but they obviously like steroids alongside those cobat drugs. I reasoned that if they were Arena celebreties, they'd have a bit more colour on them, so I'm going to go for bright undersuits and darker armour. This one's a nod in the direction of Kill Bill, and it does occur to me to do a whole squad in Cherrios colours with a Sue Sylvester Hespirax as leader... or have them all in bright colours with white stripes - a whole squad of Coach Sue's - now there's a scary thought.
Only done the suit and armour so far, and based the skin, but you get the idea.

Another couple of Wytches - the one on the left a conversion to look as if he's mid-leap. Still not entirely sure if it works... Red Wytch is going to have a yellow heel-spike, kinda Flash-ish, or maybe she'll just be a Sue clone, not sure yet.

Also some Reavers. First one not inspired by Tron at all. Nope, nosiree, not at all ; )
What I was actually going for was a more crazed-Tokyo-speedboy kind of thing, again thinking that they'd have a bit more colour on them, and havng tribal/DEldar glyphs as jet-bike art.
The second is more like the GW colour schemes, and I'm trying to do iridescence, but I don't think it's working yet - I think I need to get some black on there as contrast, it's just Charadon Granite at the moment.

oh yeh, I also rtated the wing blades so that they could actually cut things without going into reverse ("I'm going to put on the brakes and they'll sail right by... I feel the need, the need for speed!")

Im a big fan of the leg stripes. The orange bike is real nice too.

I like the other bike's twist on the traditional highlighting.

That yellow scheme is very interesting. Loving the stripes very Kill Bill like Major Tom pointed out.

Looks really, really good. I can't wait for more!

As many have said, the Kill Bill similarity is also very nice, I would love you to do a Wyche squad like that! Also, get their Raider to have 'Pussy Wagon' (IIRC) on it.

"As I recall, your face was tortured. Imagine that - the Master of the Wolves, his ferocity twisted into grief. And yet you still carried out your duty. You always did what was asked of you. So loyal. So tenacious. Truly you were the attack dog of the Emperor. You took no pleasure in what you did. I knew that then, and I know it now. But all things change, my brother. I'm not the same as I was, and you're... well, let us not mention where you are now."
