That tank is A W E S O M E! Do you have pics of the other stuff? I'd be interested in trading, send me a PM.

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

Like many things it is worth something to the right people but finding those people may not be a simple task. I love a lot of the Warzone minis but since no one plays it they have little real use to me and I imagine there a lot of people that way. The best way to find out would be to list what you have and see what happens.

life.

The infantry go for 10-25 US cents on ebay a piece. I recently recieved 60 of the buggers to bulk out my imperial guard. I'd be happy to buy more off you.

I collect:

Grand alliance death (whole alliance)

Stormcast eternals

Slaves to Darkness - currently Nurgle but may expand to undivided.

Ah good old Warzone... Wish that game never ended. And that tank is huge!

I'm pretty sure collectors will pay good amount of money for warzone miniatures.

edit: Also, I'm sure that there is a Grizzly battletank in the gallery somewhere, not just an illustration but real model.

That miniature is worthless.

You should send it to me so I can take that repulsive looking thing off your hands and do you a favor.

Warzone was great at the time. The board games were pretty on par with space hulk, ( good rules and a good selection of minis.) and fun to play.

Here are the rules and everything that you could shake a stick at.

http://www.mutantpedia.com/eng/Warzone.html

digging around, you can still get the minis, they are great fill in for standing armies, or even playing the original game.

Seriously? You should keep that tank and sit on it because people really do want them.

Also, If I remember correctly, there was an awsome selection of resin terraign as well.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

I don't know about the regular minis, but that tank was apparently produced by "Forgeworld USA" and was from around the same time that Armorcast and others were making stuff which are now all long out of production.

I'm sure it's going to be valuable regardless of the value of other Warzone items.

Sorry guys the tank is my buddy's. We both cleaned out our parent's basements recently and grabbed all of our minis to start playing again. I only have some warzone minis, which are the ones that look like space wolves (forget what corporation they are) and I did that mainly because I play Space Wolves in 40K.

The rules were awesome, all action point based, and the turn sequence was you control a squad/unit then I control one, and go back and forth until everyone has moved. Sometimes I feel in 40K whoever wins initiative has a slight advantage the whole game, plus being able to wait was awesome.

I will pass along this info to my buddy who owns the tank, and if anyone is interested in a trade/buy from him he will contact you. If the warzone minis are only selling for 50 cents a piece I think I will just use them as Space Wolves.

The smaller minis will vary in value, but that Grizzly should fetch a big price on ebay. They pop up once in a while and Im pretty sure they get several hundred dollars pretty easy.

Whats my game?
Warmachine (Cygnar)
10/15mm mecha
Song of Blades & Heroes
Blackwater Gulch
X wing
Open to other games too

The thing I love about finding all these minis, is that we can go back and play all the games again, and we do not need to upgrade anything. His Grizzly is in pretty good condition too. I remember when he got it I had to drill holes in it and pin it to get the tracks to stay together.

Warzone was a cool game. I had a decent bit of Bauhaus back around 1996, even called in to work one day to play a game at my LGS.

I´m using quite a few Warzone minis in my 40K armies and if I had enough money I would be crazy not to add a Grizzly to my collection.

BTW Crom, you are using the Imperial Wolfbanes

Like others said, for a while you couldn't give the metal figures away and the plastics are very cheap from Prince August.

The tank however is a rare collectors item, you friend should make a tidy sum on ebay.

The picture is one I posted, I have a gallery of old warzone minis up. I should do a Retro Reivew of it one of these days. After I finish my Rogue Trader one.

Yeah I figured it out when I opened my old rule books, heh. I was using some of my wolf banes as space wolves, and I think I still will as they are cool models. They would be cool as scouts I think, or maybe a lone wolf character.

Many people including me are interested in both types of Bauhaus tanks which are quite rare.
Here is the other Bauhaus tank by Forge World USA (not related to the current Forge World):

Some Warzone miniatures are cool (e.g. Imperial Trenchers, Blood Berets and the Scotish themed Wolfbane that you use as Space Wolves, also some Capitols and Mishima), others are ugly (e.g. Dark Legion). You can still pic some nice miniatures here: http://www.princeaugust.ie/target_games/

Hey this is Crom's friend with the tank. It is unassembled and painted (not pro by any means but not terrible).

about 3 or 4 of the tracks are chipped(none too severely, looks like battle damage I guess)
the spotter tower/periscope I only have the "up" piece. It came with one that would represent when the spotter is down
3 of the smaller anti infantry guns on the side are broke.

I have recently gotten back into WHFB and 40k so I'll take offers to buy or trade or partial trade. I'd trade for 40k Tau, or WHFB Wood Elves, Dark Elves, or Dwarves.

I'm in the U.S. so if the offer is from overseas we'd have to figure out shipping and whatnot... Send me a message if interested.
Thanks!

the Mothership...

agreed. the infantry warzone minis generally don't make their metal costs back when you try to sell them except for a few of the larger ones but your tank is actually quite valuable... which suprises me because i always thought the model was ugly and my old FLGS couldn't get rid of theirs for years.

The Imperial (faction) stuff that looked like Space wolves were the WolfBAIRN, not wolfbane.

It's (bairn) an old Scots term for 'offspring/baby', so they are the 'wolf-born'.

I still have a couple of the trikes they had (even though I played Capitol). I thought the trikes would make good SW bikers for 40k (mate played SW).
Unfortunately, he left the country, joined the IDF and gave up 40kays.

Tell that the manufacturer

http://www.princeaugust.ie/target_games/tg9814.html

The history of the Wolfbanes goes back many centuries to the time when many of the Imperial Corporations redefined themselves as Clans. But even beyond that, the spirit of the Wolfbanes has its roots in the soil of Earth, a warrior spirit that is and always has been born to fight.

Those in the first circle of loyalty are known as Clansmen and the Wolfbairns are the greenest warriors joining the battle as soon as they come of age.

That would actually translate to young wolves. The name is not consistent in any case, wolfbane suggests something that kills wolves so why are the recruits called young wolves?

According to their house organ at the time (they had their own magazine for Chronopia and Warzone) - they were called Wolfbairns.

Even had a fluff piece in the article announcing them with a mock scots accent (and who doesn't love a mocked scot?)

Whatever. If their current ad copy is misspelled, I'll take it as the result of a mistranslation from Swedish to something not Swedish - something the first edition of rules had in droves.

Well, have not checked every rulebook from 1st and 2nd edition, but Casualties of War (1997) only talks about Wolfbane (which I interpret as the bane consisting of wolves).
http://www.mutantpedia.com/eng/Warzone.html

Edit: Have checked 1st and 2nd edition main rulebooks: They are always called Wolfbane there. Sorry
