I like the more subtle elements you've added to your marines, and the more toned down paint scheme. I prefer the move away from the classic green.

An idea you might like for putting boills/cysts in the corners and joints is to roll some gs into very tiny balls and leave them to harden overnight. The following day, apply some gs to the corner or joint you want, and smooth it into the armour so the transition is flat and natural. Then simply place the hardened balls of gs in the fresh patch for the lumps, thereby avoiding squashing the spheres after you've carefully placed them.

The Defiler is amazingly sick. Great job on that one! Always love seeing how people intrepret the Death Guard. I'm really liking what you have done here. Subscribed. I'll be back to see you have any more -ideas to steal- work done later.

any good painting tips for the boils im trying to make them pop i tryed tallarn flesh with ogryn flesh wash and then thraka green wash and its just not popping like i want it too maybe a green or a yellow??

btw anyone following this i added half a tub of GS to my defiler and im done dry brushing everything so there will be step two pics prob tomorrow just wanna get this boil thing taken care of.

Paint the boil a colour darker than your flesh tone and then apply another colour over the top (leaving the lower part of the boil the previous colour) that's much lighter than the rest of the flesh... so yes, some kind of yellow perhaps.

Perhaps try liche purple with bubonic yellow and then a nice little highlight of bleached bone on top?

Looking good. I am doing something similar. I recommend getting a guitar string to use as breathing hoses, I also will be using some zombie heads from the fantasy vampire counts army.
