hi all
here is an ork outpost im working on. it has been base coated so that i can work on some weathering on it.
im thinking of making several pieces including a lighthouse/signal light building.
any thoughts so far?

Looks good. Get a few more buildings in that kind of style, making sure you have a good mix of heights and open/closed LOS, and you'll end up with a table full of great looking terrain!

Looking good. I think it could do with a bit more beef and gubbins, personally. You've got the orky materials and surfaces down, but the overall structure feels a bit more open and orderly than I envision orkish stuff. Perhaps a few more angled braces, protrusions, and asymmetrical plating might help the thing feel a bit denser. That's my take, at least. Honestly, though, it's nowhere near naked. It works just fine, as is.

[edit] P.S. - I see you've bashed some boardin' planks together, which I like. If you haven't used the trukk's wreckin' ball for anything else, swapping the ball for a hook makes a very convincing winch, which might tie in rather nicely.
