I recently ordered my new Dark Eldar army from this online store, as it promised me 25% discount (very tempting) over my usual 20% from GiftsforGeeks. I placed my order on the 22nd of January, and their website told me it would be dispatched within the next working day, and parcelforce would have it to me within two. This was on the 22nd.
It's now the 2nd Feb, eleven days later, and there's no sign of the goods.
I received an email last friday telling me that my order had been partially sent, and the delay was due to them not having enough stock to fulfill my order, which I'm fine with. These things happen. However, this would mean that Parcelforce has now had five days to get my order to me. But they haven't. This makes me wonder as to whether the package was even sent at all.
Has anyone here got any experience with Dark Sphere? If this kind of extensive delay a regular feature of theirs? Because I'm reaching the point now where I wish I'd just stuck with Giftsforgeeks, paid a fiver more, and had it to me in a couple of days.

I've ordered from them a couple of times and received the goods promptly. They are an actual bricks & mortar store now, so it might be worth a phone call if you are worried?

My mate orders from them regularly seems to swear by 'em. Being a smaller store i would image they would have trouble fulfilling your no doubt massive order.

I order from dark sphere regularly. One time I payed for parcel force to deliver it but it took longer then standard delivery for some reason. So personally I wouldn't bother paying for parcel force delivery.
Hope this helps
PS Dark Sphere are still awesome though!

Parcel force rarely seem to collect on the day you ask them to and aren't speedy about delivery either. I avoid using them wherever possible now.

Aye, Parcel force are genuinely awful. Not quite as bad as City Link (terrible) or Home Delivery Network (the devil's own delivery company), admittedly, but I'd put good money on the fault being theirs, rather than Dark Sphere's.
Highlights of theirs include delivering items /into bins/. Without putting a note through the door. While I've been in the house. Good stuff!

You paid for parcelforce?
Get Dark Sphere to provide a tracking number.
Put your mind at rest, or stir up some more doubts.......

Its quite often similar price/cheaper than royal mail with a tracking number, which is why when i placed an order with Dark Sphere, i chose parcelforce, and it was all fine.
I have ordered from them only once, and it was quite a big order, so had to wait for them to get it all in stock, but got an email saying it was dispatched, next day had the stuff.

They are rubbish. One time they delivered a package from boots and put it round the back of the house and didn't put a card through the door. So it was out there for three days until I happened to spot it, fortunately it wasn't something that could be rain damaged. Another time I had the front door on the porch open because it was summer, I only had a net up to keep flies out. We were waiting for a package and checked online and according to the website it had been delivered. We didn't believe it because we'd been sitting in the living room the whole time but no, I looked in the porch and to my surprise it was there. The lazy bugger must have snuck up the path, popped the parcel in the porch and not bothered to even knock or give us a shout to sign for it.

My favourite PF story is a delivery made to a friend of mine. He lived in a block of flats and they got someone to let them in to the stairwell. Rather than leave it with neighbours or return it to the depot they left it under his doormat. The parcel was approx 10" thick. What the doormat was supposed to accomplish I have no idea.
To be fair though, they are better than UPS- UK (which really, really isn't saying much).
