Here is my WIP meltabomber. My question is: Does this look realistic?

GENERATION 8: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.

I'm not so sure about it either, but I'm trying to make it look like he's putting all of his energy into lobbing the meltabomb

Hard to tell from this angle whether the left hand is held straight out from the wrist or at an angle. That's the only thing that sticks out to me. Everything else looks good. I'd say you've nailed it.

Imho the left arm seems okay

How is he lobbing it? Sort of hammer style (not MC Hammer btw)? The head could perhaps follow the line of the legs. looks a bit open chested at the moment.

hope that makes sense.

I like the way he is leaning into it.
Good work thus far!

Personally I would definitely turn his head looking over his left shoulder.
Or at least as much as possible.
hope these illustrate the point:

Everywhere I'm not supposed to be.

I would have had the left arm coming across the body at a 90 degree angle from the elbow, along with the head turned to look over the left shoulder, positioning the feet as if he were spinning into the throw...basically stuff I would have no way of pulling off myself...

If you need me, I'll be busy wiping the layers of dust off my dice.

I like him. That's a good enough way to toss a grenade in the real world. I've done enough grenade tossing to know. I wish ours had cool handles, though.

Look alright. The only thing that looks a little odd is the right shoulder pad. It seems to be at a wrong angle.

The pose is nice, but he doesn't look realistic at all. I mean, first off, he's made out of plastic. That's the first tip off.

But seriously, the pose is good.

Still think it would be improved by rotating the head.
The thrower would (hopefully) be looking at the target.
I don't feel that the open stance is as convincing as it would be as a side on position, as per sportsmen and soldiers' training manuals.

I love that model so much.

You definitely get the idea of one, single, desperate guardsmen getting just one, one-in-a-million chance to take down something big and scary, valiantly and hopefully chucking his bomb.

Will look excellent in pictures if you swap out whatever model you were death or glorying with that guy.
