Just wondering in the dark elder codex it says " you may place a portal on the table in the shooting phase but the model may not fire any weapons" well more or less that but can you fleet/run and use this?

if you cant fire weapons then i'd assume you cant run, as that also means you cannot fire weapons.. its an odd one i agree

Whoa there, let's make this more understandable.

You can move 6" in the movement phase and in the shooting phase you can drop the portal instead of shooting. Once the portal is placed you are done, no "running" as you decided to drop the portal instead. Logic being that "running" is in place of "shooting" and if you already gave up the shooting then you do not have an option to run cuz you dropped the portal instead.

You may execute an assault if their is a target to charge but other than that there is no more movement.
