Hi All
I have been working on my Blood angels and have added 2 baal preds at christmas and now 3 storm ravens and a furioso/librarion dread.
The stormravens are still being painted and i magnetised the side sponsons so i can take them on or off. I also have not glued the dreads front on so i can swap between furioso and chaplain as needed. the new furioso kit is great i used the 3rd chest for the death company on my old death company dread - it was a complete pain cutting off the original front of the dread but the new death company one is so much better, just got to finish painting that too.
what do you think so far?

Something tells me I've told you before, but you forgot to paint the eagles above the 'window' on the dozer blades

I tried highlighting a LR once. Finished 3/4 of it before I gave up.

Kudos on doing that for an entire force! Well done!

here are pics of the sponson magnetization. the magnets are drilled in to the ends of the sprue, they are 2mm by 2mm magnets. make sure you place the sprues at the top of the sponsons. it works best there as the bottom of the sponson is secure enough.

As for the rich comment lol. I sold a load of my orks to get the ravens and dread. still have more orks going in the trade forum.
the titan was joint birthday presents and some saving up. my christmas and birthday lists for the past 2 years have been GW entirely.

It is amazing how fast you were able to paint 3 storm ravens to an acceptable table top standard! Great work!

thanks for hte feed back everyone.
I have been doing a couple of hours a night on them, its a batch painting nightmare with 3 or 6 of everything.
finally finished magnetising the stormravens today. they now have magnetised wings, top air intake, sponsons and turret weapons and covers. the front weapons are interchangable inthe kit, so now all weapon load out options are possable.
just got to paint the servitors and base them and they are basically finished.

Some great Blood Angels there! I am currently painting up my Stormraven and Furioso at the moment! Was contemplating magging the front plate, but i'll never use a libby dread i reckon! Managed to find a good bits dealer on ebay so i can at least make the torsos of the other two models in the pack! Just need to find some dreadnought legs!!!

thanks for all the feedback.
I have finished basing the stormravens and have now gone back to the troops to finish basing them.
also got another sanguinary priest to complete my 3 stormraven list.
managed to play 2 games last night with my 1500pt and 2000pt 3 stormravens lists and they are great fun. won both games but to be honest 1 was versus necron so he was at a disadvantage with his 4th ed codex and the other was against a vindicator and rhino ultramarines list which was too slow to do anything major to the ravens as they stayed back launched 12 bloodstrikes and lots of las to knock them out.
looking forward to playing some more with the ravens
