I get the feeling this list went through multiple incarnations before leading up to this one based on your plans for them.

Overall, there's 3 issues:

1) Too few troops
2) Too little in the way of ranged fire support
3) Too few targets

You need more Troops and Bjorn isn't gonna be a happy camper in this list as he'll be forced to keep marching forward putting you in precarious situations. If going for a more assaulty punch, take Ragnar with the Termies and unleash hell. Really though, look for a cheaper H.Q. So you're not caught with your junk hanging in the wind.

This way, you can then move the Land Raider to dedicated for the WG and with leftover points take ML Long Fangs to add some depth to the list. Possibly a Wolf Priest would suffice.

Now...about more Troops, its a tough call as to how you make it work. I would prefer not podding in with Vindicators as you're inviting destruction on a biblical scale with bad scatters. I would go with an amrored push instead as you could field razorbacks/rhinos. I would go with Razorbacks and drop the Wolf Guard pack 2 for some dreadnought support in the form of HF/PC. If not, another Grey Hunter pack as 5 troops is better for 2000 point games in my opinion.

Just my ideas.

Well that's going to get you going in a certain direction, now based on your notes it seems like you had a different direction for the list. If you put that out there maybe the changes could be more subtle.

The list could be somewhat more viable by taking Logan for instance as your termies gain you a 4th scoring unit and makes them nasty as can be.

I think this list is workable, but it does need to have a bit of a re-design in order to be effective. Bjorn is an excellent commander and I really like him a lot, but in order to use him properly he needs a proper amount of support. Most of the time this means taking a pair of Dreadnoughts as a "bodyguard" to provide target saturation, extra ranged support and counter-assault for your Grey Hunters. I would also recommend putting the Grey Hunters in Rhinos instead of Drop Pods, as it's a much more reliable means of transport and offers true mobility rather than one-shot mobility. Breaking one of the packs into a pair of small packs in Razorbacks would also be a reasonable decision since it will increase your scoring potential and ranged firepower.

Your Land Raider unit is a bit ineffective in my opinion. I've never been a fan of Wolf Guard in a Land Raider, they just don't put out enough damage to be worth the points even with Ragnar and a Wolf Priest. Ironically, the best unit for a Land Raider seems to be a pack of Grey Hunters. They are one of the most efficient units in the codex, and can offer ranged potential as well as melee, especially if they have Arjac attached.

Using the above comments without changing your list too much, I came up with this:

Bjorn the Fel Handed (Plasma) - 270
Dreadnought (Plasma Cannon, Heavy Flamer) - 125
Dreadnought (Plasma Cannon, Heavy Flamer) - 125
3 Wolf Guard (3 power Fists) - 129
9 Grey Hunters (Meltagun, Wolf Standard, Mark of the Wulfen) - 165
9 Grey Hunters (Meltagun, Wolf Standard, Rhino) - 185
9 Grey Hunters (Meltagun, Wolf Standard, Rhino) - 185
5 Grey Hunters (Meltagun, Razorback w/ TL Lascannon) - 155
5 Grey Hunters (Meltagun, Razorback w/ TL Lascannon) - 155
Land Raider (Multi-Melta, Extra Armor) - 275
Vindicator - 115
Vindicator - 115
Total 1,999

The major changes are swapping the Wolf Guard for a pair of Razorback packs, the Drop Pods for Rhinos, ditching the excess wargear on the Grey Hunters, and using the extra points for a pair of Dreadnoughts. You could replace the Plasma Cannons on the Dreadnoughts with Multi-Meltas and save 20 points, but I'm not sure where you would put them and I actually like Plasma weapons on Dreadnoughts. It gives you the reward of a Plasma weapon without the risk of causing damage to the shooter.

Anyway, I hope that helps.

For the mostpart, Terminators are just not efficient for Space Wolves. There are some instances where you can do some good things with them, but in most cases it's more efficient to take Grey Hunters, which are significantly cheaper and have solid ranged and melee capabilities, if not quite the durability. As a result, I replaced the Terminators with Grey Hunters in the above list.

They ride in the Land Raider with an attached Wolf Guard. Again, I replaced the Terminators in this list with Grey Hunters, so they use the Land Raider as a transport instead of taking a Rhino.

Building the list as in buying the figures? If that's the case, buy Wolf Packs......lots of them......and Meltaguns a-plenty (because the Wolf Packs come only with Plasma).

Also, buy a Razorback for each pack. It comes with all of the parts to make both a Rhino and a Razorback, so you can build the Razorback turret, but not glue the hatch in place, allowing you to glue the doors of the Rhino hatch together and switch between the two freely.

Otherwise just buy whatever seems appropriate for your budget.

All right man thanks. But i alos have a small problem the dread with a plasma cannon is only 115 points not 125 so i thought that i could instead give the vindis siege shields. What do you think. but before your awsome list i bought the battleforce a wolf pack and i have a rhino so im gonna start workin thanks man. plus where should i buy melta guns cheap?
