great job Bully! love how it looks, the red is great and the airbrush blending looks excellent! you beat me to the punch! I get my airbrush at the end of next month :-) did you do much masking for your shading work? or did you just adjust the brush and feather your strokes from a distance? any help would be appreciated (I've never used one before as well) ;-)

c'mon I know you've got more pics somewhere?

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

Looks pretty good to me. Well, the painting does, still don't like the model

Were you thinking of adding any burning/weathing along the leading edges?

That is one excellent use of an airbrush.

OOooo yes mate it is Fooking ugly .. lol yes gonna do some chips and scapes yet plus a little more weather but wanted to take my time as these airbrushes can catch you out if you apply to much pressure , to close or the paints to thick or to thin..!!

Thanks for that Bully, another small Q: did you use GW paints? or vallejo air? i've ordered Vallejo air apparently it's really good for beginners and pro's goes on well and sticks like the proverbial!

Excellent work. Your colors came out smooth and work well together. The work on the Marine also looks great.

Awesome, make sure you pm me and tell me how good they are! i'm planning on using the dragon red primer and then using the airbrush to do my shading and shadows with italian red I think it was? then any other touch ups with the brushes,

another question :-) what ratio of acrylic thinners to GW paint did you use?

nice work so far although i'm a bit disappointed you didn't continue your bionic-leg theme for the pilot from the previous models! are you using the standard servitor model in the turret or replacing him with a space marine out of curiosity?

I know I'm not him but usually 1:1 or a bit more thinner:paint works just fine. I would suggest either windex or liquitex AB medium too when you get started.

I love the paintjob, but I hate that pilot. Its not your fault though, he just looks like he is having way too much fun "piloting".

Just because he's a brainwashed servant of the Emperor doesn't mean he can't enjoy his job.

True!

The main reason I thought of tis was because I was playing Grand Theft Auto IV yesterday and I caught an episode of Republican Space Rangers. Pretty similar event occured...
