I want to build a Vendetta for my Imperial Guard army but I don't want to buy the forge world conversion kit.
Does anyone have any suggestions how to do it or is forge world the best way?
Has anyone done it any other way, did it work?
Thanks for the help.

Doesn't the Valkyrie kit come with all the necessary options to build a Vendetta?

Not as far as I know, I think you get the lascannon for next to the cockpit but not for under the wings.
I've had a look at the sprue pics on the GW website and I can't see more than 1 Lascannon.

hmm, do you have some lascannons left from heavy weapons squad? I think they could fit perfectly. If you don't have some spares, you could require some via the dakka swap shop.

The forgeworld kit is nice, but the Vendetta conversion is also pretty easy to do. I don't like the wing mounted versions because I think it puts too much spread on the fire pattern. Either the mounts can individually adjust, the convergence is set to a particular attack distance or its the reason why you miss as the target isn't big enough to catch all 3 weapons I went for concentrating the weapons around the cockpit to concentrate the fire pattern a bit more (the other side of the cockpit is symmetrical). I used the lascannon mount from the kit as well as some spare Predator turret TLLCs I had kicking about. All you need are the ends anyway, so you could do this with any of the Imperial Lascannon patterns. I did add a nose turret from Old Crow, but again you could do a more simpe nose modification to get the same effect, or to mount the TLLCs horizontally.

Thanks Flinty!
Great Vendetta by the way.
