models that dont start on the table will say so to the right of their points cost.
the list is actually fairly flexible, but i cant really add anything (model wise, its just about everythin i have save for 3 alternate sargeant)

It looks like a pretty good list. I pick just a couple of nits.

That veteran with the power weapon makes me think he's contemplating something very foolish. Look for three more real special weapons to replace the grenade launchers and forget about the silly power sword. I see you've already considered that. Yes, do the melta thing.

I don't get the reserve thing with the ordnance. The Battle Tank squadron is pretty iffy, but if there are no extra models there are no extra models.

ok, so ill do meltas instead, and the reserves for the ordinance is because it can still fire direct if it moves, and if i start with it on the field i tend to lose it oin turn one as its one of the biggest hitters in my army (i wouldnt reserve them if i was going first, only if i was going second.

You should be able to hide the ordnance behind the other vehicles.

Long term, you may want to consider dropping the Basilisk, it's not a good a risk-reward proposition as the Manticore.

Not a bad list until I got down to the last Veteran unit, add meltas or plasmas on those and ditch the power weapon.

Sentinels are ok for outflanking but no in a unit as too easy to destroy. Take them in singles.

I'd drop the Basilisk and take another Manticore, I personally take triple Manticores and they really are annoying lol.

why do you guys hate basilisks so much? i find them to be most helpful, especially against anything hiding behind a wall of some sort. ive never seen them do bad things (except wen a BA player DS inbetween my russes and basilisk and the earthshaker round bounced off a marines head and hit my russ...which still took out 2 marines on the explosion.

The problem is the minimum range that pretty much only allows direct fire and then you cant hide them completely. I like the sentinels, I run my three with AC and think they perform well. If I have the points over I put some HK-missiles on them also to increase their threat as outflanking units.

I'm not a big fan of running hull multi-melta on the hellhound. I've played around with the idea my self but came to the conclusion I don't like it. With IG I prefer to be versatile with more vehicles doing specific tasks such as anti-infantry in the case of the hellhound instead of making one of my vehicles doing several things.

I don't hate them they are just pale compared to other choices. Let take the Basilisk for one minute with its SP AP3 single shot costing about 135 points not bad. Lets take a Manticore which fires D3 shots S10 AP4 costing 160 points. I'd rather pay those extra points and get 7 shots average over 4 turns than 5 single shots which would mostly scatter. Both you can fire direct and the Manticore is a even bigger killer firing direct, it's just pure win.

ok so i got some more models in the mail today (thank you DeJolly!) and have tweaked my list a little, and think i may have gone overboard with the storm troopers.
basically, drop the basilisk, separate the russes, and add a storm trooper squad with plasma pistol, and 2 plasma guns, leaves me with 15 points (also dropped the MM on the hellhound. too many storm troopers? (all are DS ing)

I'd drop the basilisk, or drop a russ and get more.

Steer cleer of DS. They'll die.

DSing is tricky, but as long as you are okay with them dying the next turn, then stick with it.

Other than that the updates you made to you list seem pretty good, although I would look into some long range anti-tank, maybe upgrade one LRBT to a Vanquisher with a Lascannon to deal with AV14.

well i would keep 30 points available to gear a list against a specific enemy, (ie nids i would take flamers, other mech i would take a vanq)
