These are my work in progress Chaos armies. The CSM I've had for a while. Most of them probably need to be re-painted as it was a few years ago that i did them. The Daemon army is coming along. I have about half the army so far. As for the renegades, the Baneblade is very much a work in progress. I think the turret is almost done but themain body of the tank still needs a wash and highlighting. I did just get a renegade command squad, so hopefully I will get them done soon. Anyway, here's the army I hope you enjoy.

Not bad at all. I especially like the wings on the changer of ways (not up on my daemons so I hope that is right) and the colour graduation on the soulgrinder from orange to red (which could perhaps be a bit more gradual but still looks good).

One general comment that I think I can apply to most of your army is that washes can really bring your models up a level. Your soulgrinder for example has a lot of fantastic musculature on the torso, but it is not being defined. Some thin red and black wash could really bring it out and make it pop.

Secondly it looks like some of your lighter colours are suffering from being either too thick, or too thin. The yellow on your vindicator looks very thick in places (compared to the soulgrinder where the yellow appears to be quite good) and the light tan lines on the baneblade definately show through the brush marks and colours from underneath.

I recommend painting on a layer of one of the foundation colours similar to the top colour you want to achieve to give you a good solid base to apply paint to and using multiple thin layers to apply your bright colours.

Loving your army mate, love the vinidcator with 1000 sons, any chance you can post some pics of the baneblades front and back and side?

@SilverMK2 Thanks for the tips. Like I said a lot of the army was done a while ago so they need some work as my skill set has progressed. I do like any helpful hints i can get though, so thanks for that.

I dig what I guess to be a Toucan nose on the Fateweaver(?).
