Finally finished painting my Tomb Stalker, Second one almost done

I gotta say, I'm not a fan of all the color on this model. It's all over the place. Silver, green, pink (?), blue, yellow, and copper is just too much on a Necron model, in my opinion. It just doesn't work with their aesthetic. Honestly, eliminating the blue, pink, and yellow on the eyes and just making them the other three colors (green, silver, and copper) would yield a much better result. Right now the number of colors makes the model way too busy.

Also, I'd thin your paints a bit and give it a wash or two.

I like the base, though.

I also agree to this, to many colours, also it looks like it just stepped out of the factory and had a wax on wax off job, it needs toning down abit with a few washes of badab black maybe?

Well this is kinda what my army looks like to be honest. I have become known for how different my army is compared to the rest. I guess im just really colorful. The "pink" is not pink it a blood colored enamal that looks pink in the light i guess. didnt realize that. But hey criticism is always appreciated though!!!

Have to agree with the others I am afraid. A lovely model but a terrible selection of colours.

I would also agree that some washes would probably help tone down this model and make it a bit less eclectic and get it to tie together a bit more.

I don`t want to be overly harsh or anything, so please do not be offended by my comments. Guess I just prefer a more "nitty gritty" style.

the others are right :s sorry.. but hey.. if he goes well with the rest of your army why don't keep it that way? a wash on the iron would let look a lot beteer actually but that's just me so

I'd say if you were going for colourful, lose the silver back and apply something that looks like this:


he base would have to be toned down a bit to accommodate though.

i know where the others are coming from but i like the creativeness in it and if it maches your army then power to ya but it does need a wash or two
