A long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away...

A yellow 1976 3 door Honda Civic.

Got it from a friend for the price of a main fuse (75p) - although it was full of rust and holes - had to weld on new wheel arches and rivet patches into the engine bay. Resprayed it black to make it 'cool' and was going to airbrush the Pearl Jam 'Stickman' onto the roof. passed my driving test in it, so have fond memories - even the breakdowns where fun! Ended up selling it and getting another yellow car, but this time a far superior 1974 MGB GT - absolutely loved this one and was a sad, sad day when the new owner drove it away

Obviously I missed it. Must have been more important threads that pushed it off the first page.

Wolselsy 1500. My grandmother gave it to me when she got too old for driving. I sold it to a vintage car fan when it started to be unreliable.

On a similar note, I am at present in the process of importing a 2007 Dodge Charger... fully reconditioned motor...

It even has racing stripes!

All up, including the left-right side conversion, Im looking at under $20k for it...

Oh man, the first car!

Mine was a 1984 Holden Camira in sexy maroon.

It was under powered and over weight. The drivers seat was busted (a bit of metal would stick into my back) and it had four different tires on it. The headlights would only stay on high beam and in the course of 12 months it killed three head gaskets. My mates dad had a Fiat (Fix It Again Tony) so he called mine the Come And Make It Right Again

Aside from that, I was the first of my mates to own a car, so bugger the problems, we had freedom at 85kms per hour! (and that's down hill with a tail wind)

Ahh the year was 1984.. I had hope in my heart and Love in my Soul! But I was going to a boarding school in NY so I didnt need a full time car. At the family Motorcycle shop a gentalman traded in a 1979 BMW 318i for a brand new Harley. So I got to use the BMW the entire summer. It was supposed to be a copper color, but the fade on the paint made it a much more "Butterscotch". It had a bad alternator, and the starter didnt work right. On the other hand, I could push start it myself. I miss that little car.

This isnt/wasnt mine, just found it on google.

Anyone who owned a car before I was 10 (or even born) is officially OLD.

That is all.

One of these:

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

My first car was a 1975 Chevy Nova. It bought it in 1985 for $500, and drove it for three years, even after wrecking it three times. By the time I finally got enough money saved up for a really good car (1981 Corolla GT) it was held together with coat hangers and bumper stickers. I sold it to a junk yard for $25 and to this day regret not taking any pictures of it.
