Hello,

I have been looking for a higher quality alternative to the Robart Hobby Paint Shaker. It will mainly be used to shake Vallejo Model Colour. Price is not of a concern (to a reasonable extent). Does anyone have any suggestions?

Also, would anyone suggest using paint agitators in conjuction with a paint shaker for Vallejo Model Colour? Is there any other methods/equipment I should know about to mix paint?

Thanks.

Putting a small bead in the pots can be a massive help, just make sure it is heavy enough to perform decent agitation without being a material that will rust or leak pigment.

I use small fired ceramic beads in all dropper bottles, makes mixing the paint very quick.

Pick up Small Lead Fishing weights, drop 1-2 in your bottles of paint, helps mix the paint up when you shake it.

I use #3 Round Split Shot, like 40 per bag I use 1 in a GW paint or couple in Larger bottles.
