So I got a bunch of GK's for the detail. One model I hated was the Dread Knight... SO I modded it. I pushed back the whole top half, so It would look more like the DreadKnight from page 4-5 Of the GK codex.... I have detailed steps on what I did but not sure if anyone would be interested in the process. Will post more pics once i get it painted... (Havent painted miniatures in over 10 yrs, but I'm a tattoo artist so I'm hoping I didnt lose out on my 3rd place Golden Demon talent)

The model still needs to be filed/sanded a bit..... Sry for the pics, took em with my phone. Will get my tattoo photographer to take pro pics when its done

Thanks.... I was so pumped to see what it looked like together, that I put the arms onto the torso... Looking back at it now... I should have waited.... O well, maybe i can pry em off n file down the glue...

It's amazing what a difference such a (relatively) small change makes.

Also the thought of a Parent/Child Dreadknight costume with the baby as the Grey Knight and the Parent as the robo-suit has totally made my day....

Leg armor looks like it is the weapon guards from Eldar Tank Turret weapons..

Yep, the plates on the front are left over turret pieces for the wave serpent. and the pistony looking things on the back are also bits left over from a wave serpent... Thanks for the comments fellas

When do we get to see some paint?

I probably wont be able to paint it for another week or two.... Id rly like to try usuing a coat of boltgun metal spray paint over top of a black primer... And none of the hobby stores around me carry that. And, whenever i seem to be on GW's site its not a bank friendly experience....

Just thought id share for anybody who hasnt seen it...
