Facts are:

-They are conquering race.
-They have pacified Humans on conquered worlds, to prevent them in reproducing; thus the possibility of rebelling one day.
-They feed POW to Kroot or make them work until death "for the greater good".
-They are using their allies like cannon fodder ( Kroot, Vespid and Gue'vesa always have much more losses than Tau warriors ).
-And they see Humans as "underdeveloped barbarian race" ( similar like Germans and the Jews in early 1940's ).

For Tau society I will say nothing because we don't know much. But if they really all live in peace and harmony how is that we hear no one complaining about Ethereials, or the fact that one Etherial is ruling until his death. And the fact that Shadowsun is learned something about that and decide to go renegade?

I would gladly be POW in the Imperium, at least they would me immediately, thus giving me easy .
Your opinions?

Only against Xenos. All humans are created equal. All will serve the God-Emperor.

But ass for the racism of the Tau. Perhaps. I mean this is the GRIMDARK 41st Millinium. And the tau where sorta looking to bright and shiny. So GW had to through some mud on them. Which i agree with. No race is perfect.

Well yes most definitely, no race can be perfect because no one sentient being is perfect. The Tau definitely needed mud, you cant get to most big goals without stepping on a few toe's. And yes I meant to xenos for the Imperium being racist.

GW's "opinion":
Original Tau designer notes wrote:In contrast to other races, we wanted the Tau to be altruistic and idealistic, believing heartily in unification as the way forward. This meant that they would happily incorporate other races into their empire without subjugating them, instead enticing them in with the benefits of mutual protection, trade and technology.(emphasis by me)

My opinion:
Most of your points are a misinterpretation of an Imperial viewpoint in an alternative 40k timeline in a non-GW PC game. Most of them are clearly proven false by reading the Codex or other background material (e.g. novel "For the Emperor"). You might also find, that you mixed up Shadowsun and Farsight, that Farsight didn't" learn something before renegading" and that Ethereals don't rule.

But I agree on one point: If someone wants to repair my computer by singing and dancing and praising to the Machine God, I might rate his technological level below mine

If this thread is just meant as another Tau-hater thread for trolls only, please ignore my attempt to answer in a rational manner and go on as planned

Which may have been true in third edition, but it certainly isn't now.

Now, not at all. I respect the Tau, I just do not think that they are peaceful race in the galaxy of war. And there is more to the "grater good" then this that they gave us to think...

It is a mining planet. What else should they do instead of working in a mine. The "until death" is of course a tactical lie, not in the book.
And Kroot are not fed by the Tau, but Kroot eating enemies is a biological necessity for them (found disgsting by the Tau BTW).
Coa wrote:And next thing - this guy shows up with Titan and Emperor class battleship to show you his technological "inferiority".

Then Tau shoot them down with a Tiger Shark, as featured in said Taros book.
And those technological items are 10000 years old and not understood by current mankind. A cat walking over a computer keyboard doesn't make it a technological advanced being.

Somehow I doubt that you have read the Tau Codex, the Taros campaign book or anything else on Tau, as your argumentation gets most of the facts wrong.

Mmmm. Ok let me process this...

Tau: Starting an empire and are happy to assimilate others as long as they toe the line. Possible use of sterilisation on dissident factions of conquered peoples. Use other races as meat-shields.
Designation: Racist/Speciest.

Ok, I can see that, they take their imperialistic belief in the greater good and know they follow it best coz they made it. I am will you so far. Lets have a look at the rest of the universe...

IoM: Actively plans the genocide of all other intelligent species, though some are scheduled to be wiped out later than others (I'm looking at you Joekaro.) Only uses its own people as meat shields.
Designation: Super Racist/Speciest.

Eldar: Smug in their knowledge that while they might be dying a slow death they are the best at everything and everyone else is just muddling around in the dark. Happily uses anyone else as meat shields if they can get away with it.
Designation: Douchebag Racist/Speciest.

Tyranids: They are bugs. They make their own meat shields.
Designation: All are equal in an all you can eat buffet.

Necrons: Death-bots of Gamma IIX sucking the life out the universe. Non need for meat shields, they'll be back.
Designation: All are equal in an all you can eat buffet.

Orks: Orks krump Orks, Orks krump non-Orks. Orks live for krumping. Meat shields? But that will just slow us down.
Designation: Equal opportunity Krumper.

Glory is fleeting. Obscurity is forever.

Just a short clarification, because this tactical lie shows up in all Tau-hater threads:

This only is mentioned in a non-GW PC game. It is mentioned in an alternative 40k timeline where this planet is part of the Tau Empire (in standard 40k it is a human planet). It is presented by an Imperial narrator. It is presented as the third likeliest explanation why men and women living in separate prisoner camps don't get children. Ask Mom and Dad, why men and women have to meet to get children

BTW the meat shield thing is proven false by a.o. the Vespid text in the Codex, also by the original designer notes on Kroot.

It was a warhound Titan, the least armoured adn equiped of all imperial titans, and to do so they had to massivley redeploy their asset to do so.

Runnin up on ya.

Jeez another hater thread? The other one just closed yesterday. Look at it this way. Without xeno armies, all you mahreen players would just be playing each other; now that would be boring. And who cares if the Tau want to take over the universe? Every faction in the game has its own agenda, why would the Tau be different?

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

Actually, it's mentioned in the Deathwatch Rites of Battle book. Along with the Tau 'vanishing' those who speak out against the Kroot presence in a recently annexed colony.

But watching a Titan squad flee in panic was a moment to remember and not a sign of technological superiority

And?

The Tau still had to pull a 'Death Star Trench Run' for all intents and purposes to kill a single Warhound Titan. They diverted forces from across the entire continent to ensure that one pilot got a shot in.
