I'm building a dreadnought "from scratch" and need some help with the legs. Here's what I've got so far:

but first of all just a bit of advice try to state what chapter its from. is it vannillas? BA? DA?
and also it depends what you have in your bitz box

What has happened to the original Warjack's legs? Can these not be used in some way?

The warjack's legs look entirely inaccurate when the model is assembled. The plan for this guy is GK, but this is just my most recent love since I really haven't settled on an army yet. My bit box is not very large, and I don't plan on buying a dread to use the legs from as i'll end up needing to scratch build legs again later.

Sorry, inadequate, not inaccurate. The legs for this particular 'jack are terminator size at best.

plastruct I beams for the leg frame work, make up some shin armor from sections cut out from 3/4 inch pvc pipe...
Maybe a couple of Defiler arms with feet molded from green stuff?

I found some feet I'd like to use today, when I get home I'll get a pic or two up, as well as some pics of the original legs in case there are ideas for converting them.

Here are more pics to help with what I have and where I'm headed.

My best suggestion, using those metal feet, use some plastic I-beam and tubing. With two different sizes of tubing you could make some nice hydraulics. Good luck.

Thanks guys, sounds like I need to stop off at the store and grab some brassy tube and plasticard. Any chance somebody could get me some dread leg dimensions for reference?

Alright, I got leg structure finished off, headed to a friends today to dig through his bitz. I'll get pics up of the WIP and finished model as soon as I can charge my camera.

Alternatively try and pick up some sentinel legs from somewhere. Also can you arm the things with CCW, missile launcher and MM at the same time?

Probably not, but I don't do much wyzwyg or tournament gaming. But it looks like it belong IMO.
