hey guys, here are some pics of a rhino and a daemon prince that i am making more nurglicious. the rhino is pretty much done, the prince, i'm thinking of maybe doing a little more, but i do like the look of the original model itself and don't want to take too much away from it. anyways, thought i would share with you, it's my first time working with greenstuff. there will be more pictures in the future too, as i've got more rhinos and more standard infantry to work on!

(sorry about the picture quality too, still getting used to this camera)

To start with they look good and for your first time working with GS, very good indeed. And personally, I like the less messy Nurgle look you've got going so far, just be sure to add to it with a nasty looking paintjob and they'll be great.

Keep it up.

i wasn't sure whether or not to take the comment of them having a "messy" look positive or not, but thanks! haha = )

That's less messy. Most of the Nurgle dedicated armies I've seen are so covered in GS that you can barely make which model is underneath it all. So at least to me, my previous statement was supposed to be a positive one.

It's more subtle and less over the top than most others and I like it. Sorry for the confusion.

i didn't see the "less" part of your sentence, which now makes perfect sense. i attribute it to a long day. thank you very much though! i do understand what you're saying. i don't want to put so much GS on there that it takes away from the quality of GW's models, which i do like. i'd also like to let the paint do a lot of the talking once it gets on there too.

No worries. Keep it coming, I'd like to see more as would my nephew who's working on Death Guard.

right now i have a small squad of death guard from the box. not too much that i did with them aside from add some pustules onto their backpacks and some more onto the bases and one of the melta's that was from the regular CSM infantry box.

as i don't want to keep buying boxes of the DG (they're both expensive AND well... just 8 sculpts), i'm going to make the rest of my plague marines out of the basic infantry boxes. it'll be great fun!

Thats a lot better than anything I could do with GS. Soooo I gotta say congrats on pleasing good ol' Papa Nurgle. As Broadcast said, The pustules are amazing and I can only hope that you continue on to paint them. Expecially that sick Daemon Prince.

But also, you can never go wrong with giving him wings (The Daemon prince that is)

I completely agree with what JoeyHeadwounds was saying, just the right amount of GS, and brilliantly executed. Nice work.

Hey guys, i'm back. i've made a few more progressions and thought i'd share them. i also finished a second rhino, but it's very similar to the first so i didn't bother with pictures. i'm working on the last 3 infantry being converted into plague marines as i type this. after that i'm searching for a second AOBR dread. lastly will be the second half of my army, which is khorne themed. anyways, i hope you enjoy. any feedback, suggestions, complaints, etc... are more than welcome!

here are some infantry converted into plague marines. note the great unclean ones arm in the background (i'm sure she can rival papa nurgle in the smell dept.)

YES! Another AoBR Dread ripped from the grasp of the hated Imperium! The GS work you have done is excellent, very specific and intentional. I converted the same model, but as you can see my GS skills are less intentional and more limited to "splat-spread-poke-done"

Looking forward to seeing more work from you.

Still liking the "less is more" GS work, looks really good on your AOBR Dreadnought. My only criticism is that you have a big mold line on the melta arm, and you should drill out the barrels on it.

I like how your Nurgle army is coming along, keep it coming.
