Well I've seen a bunch of pictures of peoples "collections" and figured it was time to take mine.
This is all of the Ultramarines I have painted. I have MANY MANY more to paint and even more to build so I'll be busy for a while
The entire 15k


2nd Company
6 Tac squads of 12men Las/Plas/flamer/melta, 2 Devestators of 4 Heavy Bolters, 3 Ven Dreads of Assault Cannon Flamer,
3 Dreads of Assault Cannon Flamer, 12 Drop Pods, Damocles Rhino, Command Squad of 2 melta 2 plasma Banner Champ Sicarius,
Libby, chappy, 2 Thunder fire cannons and tech marines, Techmarine with harness, and 9 Speeders are in the paint log.

Each Squad has Melta, Plasma, and Flamer. Each one of them is marked with a different back tabbard so I can tell them apart at a distance.

2 Termi assault squads of 10 Thunder hammers, 2 Termi Assault Squads of 9 Lightning claws,
Termi shooty squad of 2 assault cannons, Termi command squad with converted apothecary and converted banner bearer,

I'm going to wait to take pictures of my collection of guardsmen until they hit the 15k mark (they're at about 11k painted right now),
and the same with my Grey Knights (who are at aboue 500 points painted).

those are a lot of painted marines, and some interesting drop pods in the background too.

Wow! Thats really impressive army! What are those drop pods? They look little weird, but not bad way! You must be playing at least 5 years to get such army. I really like them! 30 honour guards? All metallic? Suppose not but I would like to see all of them!

Awesome collection. I love to see this kind of dedication to the hobby.

And here I thought I had a large Ultramarines army. I especially like the use of Forgeworld doors on the land raiders.

Mephistoles1 - Thanks! I'm going to have every marine special character, and I can see no other way to logically have an assault marine captain than in the assault company. I don't know why a line captain could leave his company and jet off into the enemy.

Jone96 - Thanks! The drop pods are custom built. I've been playing 40k for over 15 years and the marines have been in this paint iteration for about 5 years (since the 4th ed codex). You can see better pictures of the Drop Pods and pictures of the rest of my honor guard in the galleries below. Most of the other Honor Guard are plastic conversions using the Black Reach Commander or the Space Marine Commander box.

What did you make the Drop Pods out of?

Can we get a better pic of the Death Company counts-as guy who looks like he's garrotting a Hormagaunt? Looks great.

sirwilliam7734 - The drop pods are just the red plastic cups you find at walmart topped with a medicine cup and a storm bolter. The fins are cut from plexiglass, detailed up, and then the whole thing is cast in resin.
