That’s a nice and simple and great looking piece of terrain. Great job!

simple, yet detailed and realistic. The only criticism I have is that with a ruin like this, even if it had been untouched for centuries, one would imagine it would still have rubble around the area. The ground (base) looks to clean for a ruin. I used to model my buildings the same way, until I realized they needed more ruins, rubble, rocks, gravel, etc, up close to the walls and sporatically laying around.

Yea, you've got a good point there Element, I should probably try adding some more rubble or stones.

Great start next one add a few rocks a little rubble maybe some arrows if its for fantasy or random bits here and there and that adds story to the building which is nice

I don't remember the name, I think its hardboard. I heard masonite is just as good.
But I got this board at home depot, it was only like $4 for a big 2x6 piece of it.
Just check by the lumber section for a really thin board, I think this was 1/8 inch.

looks good, i have just started building some small bits of terrain using foam board and i found that a good way to texture it is to smear a thin-ish layer of pollyfilla and dab it with a brush.
