Looking to throw helmets on my scouts.

Does anyone know if these fit? Also, any suggestions would help as well as pics.

the elysians are true scale so the will look too small on the big scout bodies

As usual, 3rd party bitz like pig-iron heads look pretty good on scouts.

If you want to go pure GW, the helmeted heads from the Valkyrie pilot sprue also look decent on scout bodies, you get 5 per Valkyrie, so tracking down spare heads from other people or your own Valkyrie kits shouldn't be too hard.

And yes, the Elysian heads are a bit too small for scout bodies, so it looks sort of wonky.

How come scouts have no helmets?

I've tried several different Pig Iron helmets on scouts... they all look awesome - BUT they all make the model look like an IG trooper rather than a Space Marine.

It's a shame that I do not really need them in my Blood Angels army.
Besides my 5 men sniper squad which I HAVE to field for the rule of cool.^^

I don't know about helmets, but I wish I had made some GS berets for mine. I think Scouts should have berets. . .
Think SAS or SF.

Maybe when I get bored and I re-paint them, I will gave a go.

Scouts with PI heads



Scout bikers with PI heads (amongst other things):



The larger System Trooper heads actually go pretty well on the Scout models.

Personally i think they look great, it's why i'm doing it! (Needs a tiny bit of GS for a 'collar' represented here with bluetack)





Pig iron heads look like garbage IMO....
