I finally managed to put together my first obliterator... It involved quite a bit of greenstuff, super glue, and holding pieces together.

I have 3 more to go, and I want to know how other people assemble the troublesome obliterators,

Greenstuff, super glue and that rapid cure spray work pretty well for me.

Do you use a lot of greenstuff? I think I overdid it a little bit. Its also hard to make it blend into the obliterator skin.

Meh, you might have overdone it a bit but score it up and when you paint it it won't matter.

Unless you're a perfectionist, in which case you know what you must do. I use tiny amounts of greenstuff. Just enough to make it stick.

He doesn't look too bad now. I painted all the skin parts white, and it looks natural.

Some progress here;

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

Oblits are utter gits to put and keep together. Some of the larger bits I pinned, the rest I GS'ed and super glued.

Even now I have to keep sticking bits back on and I keep them in their case most of the time.

That's really nicely painted. Congrats to you sir!

I most certainly do not have a soft spot for DG, but do you have any more pics?

Forgive my noobishness :p, but do you mean Death Guard by DG? If so I have many pictures of plague marines in my gallery with more on the way.
