Hi guys,

So here are my Vostroyans, but a bit far from the usual "red + bronze" theme.
My goal for my IG army is for each squad to be from a different regiment, and the whole of them in a desert camo theme (yes, it means I will have to do Valhallans with desert camo, go figure; maybe coming from a volcano planet, so the desert is somewhat freezing for them?). Some of you might have seen my cadians over there, and the next ones will be irish hairy desert catachans (... )

I've kitbashed a bit dwarves bits on them, but not too much conversion overall. I still don't know if I'm satisfied by the result; they look a bit messy, but the camo tends to have this effect. And the pictures seem to show even more my not-so-good painting skill :p Look really shiny too, probably because of all the metal paint used.

I quite love the heavy weapon one though :p

Anyway, i'm open to any feedback or comment, that's always helpful

The sergeant; not so sure about the orange mustache.. You will notice the lack of effort on the power weapon; I tried several things, but it never looked good, and i'm too lazy for really complex effects, so it ended up in plain Electric Blue :/

The flamer dude. It's a cadian flamethrower, since the original one was... quite old school looking

Just to say that I love their masks, especially since it allows me not to paint skin/eyes (which are my worst nightmare it seems (the catachans are killing me) )

Overall, their mask/armor has a kind of "Space Marine Mk-0" feel that I really like

Because sometimes, size matters :p Also, I've tried to get a light effect on the tripod thing lens, don't know if it's visible or not

Vostroyans don't fear heat, Vostroyans don't know pain! Or at least they don't show it..

The red bases are for me to play them more easily actually... I will end up with around 100 dudes running around the table, which would make it easy to get confused, and mix the plattons by accident

This way I get the Blue Platoon (meltas), the Red Platoon (flamers + autocannon), lead by Bronze PCS, the orange Veteran squad, the purple Psyker squad, and the gold HQ

Not the prettiest colours, but easy to spot :p
