Here are some dice that I'll be using as part of a request conversion.
The request was for a 40k player genestealer, and he'll be equipped with dice, rulebook, tape measure, etc.

Just thought I should post these separately, because they are the smallest dice I've ever seen.
Pictured with a regular d6, dice cube sized, d6, and these tiny dice.

If there are smaller dice available, I'd like to see them!

About 1/8" cubed

I think these are the smallest. They should be 5mm. Sounds interesting. I always enjoy your work.

Ive seen a lot smaller for this old pirate ship game where you would put the ships together from a sheet of card.

@Mewiththeface That's the 5mm dice I mentioned. The smallest die Doomthumbs has appears to be about that.

Smaller I believe, but " a lot smaller"?

Much smaller than this and a grain of sand would cause a cocked die.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Actually these dice are smaller than 5mm. they're just a tiny portion larger than 1/8 " across one side.
1 inch = 25.4 mm
1/8" = 3.17 mm

So maybe 3mm? I can't find my calipers.... Rummage, rummage..

Months ago I got 100D6 from an online deal site for about a buck, shipped. I think they're about that size, but might be a bit smaller. If I can't dig them up, I'll try to take some pics when I get home.

Dice like that used to come packaged with the constructable card games like, Nascar: Race Day and Pirates. You could probably just make your own if you need them smaller. With all the conversion work that you do, it should be a pretty ho-hum task.

Okay I lied, it was $5, but here's a site with basically the same deal for a lot cheaper, if anyone else is looking to get some.

They're 5mm, so you win!

Lol. Darn precision instruments are always missing when you have dice to measure. But gak those are small if they're smaller than 5mm. I seem to remember a "Trouble" board game toy from a fast food joint several years back that had TINY dice inside if you broke open the dome.

I've seen some a tad smaller at a store in California that sold random things, at 10 cents each I spend $5 on them but even in a bag, they were so small I lost them coming back to Texas...

Now, to play the trump card on this thread:

Yes, that really is a pencil lead in the first picture, and a 0.5mm mechanical pencil lead too. The die itself is 0.2mm wide.

You can buy your own tiny die for $870: http://pinktentacle.com/2006/08/tiny-dice/

Here's another picture of the dice, taken with an electron microscope (and coloured):

If you go to your local hobby lobby, there are some dice beads in the beading aisle that should work. IIRC, they are in the 3mm range and are less than $5 for a sizeable bag.

I went and looked for these, couldn't find them, but as I stood there looking, I had this thought:
"Beads? Don't beads have a hole in them? What two opposite dice facings would even work with that?"

Going through the one puts it in the middle of the six.
Going through the five turns the two into a three.
Going through the three makes a five out of the four.

Wouldn't dice earrings also have this same problem?
$870 for one die? You're out of your mind.

The huge sack of 5mm dice is what I'm going with, this idea is genius.

They actually go through two corners. Yes, it would probably affect how consistently they roll, but if I read the OP correctly, he's using them for a mini, not rolling with them.

True true. Still would need to GS over the hole, though.

Unless you hung them from a trukk rearview. That idea alone makes me want to pick up orks.

I used to have a couple tiny dice that I took out of a pencil top game years ago. They were about the size of an ink pen tip, so a LITTLE smaller then the ones you posted. And naturally, I lost them, who the hell can keep track of something that small
