The armour and the metallics look great but i'm not sold on the cloak , it dosen't gel with the armour.

Tight and clean painting for sure! I agree that the green robe doesn't seem to fit though.

I approve of your choice of Vancouver Canucks team colours.

Thanks for all the feed back guys, the green robe is a reoccuring theme with my sons, might not look as off with 8 other guys rockin to same habadashery.

I just did the gw power sord technique, il give you a fun down though.
Firs I base coated it mechrite red, then stipled realy thin blood red, next I did a thin coat of blood red inside the first coat(thicker than the first) then I did a rough lighning pattern with blazing orange not being too carefull as the mistakes look the best lol and inside that I did the same thing with yellow cant rember the name off the top of my head, has sun in the name lol.

Looks excellent, although I know why people don't like the Green robe. It needs a strong highlight on the raised area and also some deeper shadow but otherwise this is excellent.

Oh quick one if you like your Golds, I buy Vallejo Old Gold (this is some kind metallic paint in Alcohol) this gives amazing golds even stronger than normal acrylic Metalics.

If you put 3 or 4 more layers after this stage it goes super shiny and reflective, you even get a mirror effect.

I rushed most of this squad, they were meant to be tt standard so I wasnt planing on going crazy on them, I might go back to them kater on and fix up the tabbards.

That gold looks great, might have to look into it.

Here is a picture that Ifalna put up on her commissions blog, it is the paint I referenced above painted directly onto Chaos Black Primer. Pretty stunning isn't it?

Ifalna's blog is very good. The Vallejo Gold is available in about 6 colours including a fresh Gold, Green Gold, Red Gold etc. It is in alcohol so you cannot use water with this. Methylated Spirits is the only thing on your Brush, to clean it or to thin the paint. The paint stinks like an Alcoholic Balm (very strong), you must not under any circumstances put water in the pot, or damp the brush. The water reacts with metals in the paint and ruins it very quickly, i'm talking within the hour!.

I like the paint scheme. It's different, but yeah maybe some highlights will help.

Yeah great work! Maybe a bit more layering on the green would help and tad of highlighting. other than that, great work!

Looks pretty awesome. The cape could use a little work like highlights and all that, but overall it looks really good.

I like it very much, although I do recommend highlighting the green tunic to make it stand out some more

I like the model, but must echo the sentiments of the others and say the green does look odd.

I think the reason for this is because you already have the blue and yellow of the armour and the red of the sword, so the green just makes it look a bit "lego-ish"

Like I said though, I can't fault your technique.

I have to agree with others on the green robe. - but the painting looks crisp and i love the sword!
