Here's my cultist based on the new dark elf figure.
Only very minor conversion rounded off the ears gave her a bionic eye trimed of her clothing and resculpted the chest and changed the staff to a power spear..

it's really well painted, great work... anyone who can't handle a topless miniature shouldn't even be on the internet, changing the title is completely unnecessary

But there are people who check in from work who get extra shiny bits of trouble for having checked out sites with *any* form of nudity on them.

Ah well there we go no one will get in trouble for skiveing of at work . So they only have to hide the fact that there looking at toy soldiers now .

How did you achieve the toplessness though? Did you file away the clothing or is there some other devious Druchii trick?

EDIT: I just noticed the bionic eye whilst scrolling back up. Very sneaky addition. I love how people can make Fantasy models Sci-fi with a little addition like that. It proves that it doesn't have to be anything extensive to make the transition.

Just used a scalpel to shave her top of then used a small wire brush (from a dremel but by hand) to smooth it off . She also has mechadites (spelling? ) woven in with her hair but they are so small they don't show up on the pics

What about the Forge World KoS, which has five exposed boobs, with nipple piercings? Would you object to painted pictures of that, or are we supposed to sculpt little demon skull-bras for the model to make it PG-13?

Personally, I've got no issue with the model, and I think you did a great job. I would reiterate the request for all future conversions of this nature carry the "NSFW" tag in the title, I know my job would get a bit peeved at me if I was looking at it during work. (At work, I just look at it on my phone - much harder for someone to see the screen.)

Boobies are bad mum, BAN THEM!! Considering you spend a good amount of time looking at them with hungry desire as a child, i don't see the issue.

Thats a very nice take on that new mini. If I can pick her up for a good price I may do something techy with her.

It's interesting to note the difference in the US and UK in whether this is nsfw or not . In the UK you will find topless pics in almost every newspaper most days and as a lot employers buy the newspaper for the work place this wouldn't even get comented on if anything your more likely to get told off for wasting works time when you should be working but this would apply to what ever your looking at . As for preteens I think people are extremely naive in thinking that a 2inch high depiction of the female form would have any kind of effect on them ...! They're all played with dolls as a child they've all got access to tv and internet I'm sure a most of them would shock us with what they've seen compared with a lot of us who I'm sure grew up pre internet ?

I for one never even considered that the fact she isn't wearing a top would even be a point of coment as she is suposed to represent the death cultist / techno barbarian I saw no reason for her to wear armour if she is honouring death . Hence the flagalation . Would a topless male of drawn the same coment ? I very much doubt it .... so maybe we should all be doing something to change this "bourgeois" morality we all have or we will all certainly be living in a grim dark future .

Nonetheless, looks really nice. Some really good conversion work there, and the paint job sets it off really nicely. Good one.

I'd like to say that, wether one like to see boobs on a model or not, you've done a smooth work to remove the bra without leaving cutting marks (no silly pun intended here) and the musculature painting is very good!

The nudity issue seem a little out of subject for me, but it's probably because for a long time in France we even had boobs shown on our banknotes (and french tv advertisers used topless models to sell anything from yoghurt to soap)

I have to say that we as a culture need to get over the fact that women have breasts and a vagina and that men lack enlarged breasts and have a penis. A toy soldier that has realistic bumps is NOT pornographic. there are plenty of art pieces that contain nudes. the human body is not something that we need to fear or cover up. This fgure is not modelled in a sexual or explicit fashion. anyone having problems with it needs to grow up.

Come to think of it, I recall White Dwarf advertising the Hag Queen model many times. I think it's even in the back of the latest issue. She has exposed nipples too.
