As opposed to Dark Angel Champ-Masters thread, is there a unit in one of your armies that seems to do extremely well in every battle?
I know that for me, it would have to be my Nobz, with attached painboy and Warboss for my orks. They seem to do well in every battle, no matter if they are footslogging, or taking their trukk out for a spin, usually surviving an incredible amount of firepower, before assaulting into close combat and generally making a mess of anything, and everything that they encounter.
I'd love to hear your own tales of units that manage to survive your battles, "Against the Odds."

My pair of Baals never let me down. I usually scout them and get them in the right position to unload at enemy infantry. Nothing survives my pair of Baals.

It's quite alright, young master. If it makes you feel any better, I'll share my experience with the Movie Marines list I tried from BoLS.
Imagine 15 Marines and a Heavy Bolter equipped Razorback. The Marines had a Lascannon, a Flamer, and a Sergeant. Now, imagine a 6x4 table, longways. The Marines are defending what is essentially a citadel on one short table edge. Deployed on the other side is a good 3,000-4,000 points of Orks, Chaos and Guard.
By the end of the game, all my Marines were gone, and the Razorback had been wrecked - but only 1/3 of the enemy remained. The sergeant had personally tore a bloody hole through a squad of Khorne Berserkers, weathered a storm of arcane bolts, then single-handedly ripped apart a squad of Thousand Sons.
