Look i have been thinking for weeks on a name for a DIY space marine chapter and have drawn a blank. Though if you could come up with a name that suits a kind of trophy theme where the marines like to wear
trophys from battle.

Colour scheme also helps with the naming process. Also the types of trophies they take, whether they're from just one kind of enemy or do something crazy like just take hands etc.

Crimson Lodge (as in lodge where trophies are kept... replace Crimson with whatever color you're going for)

Foreign names work well.

Some ideas for ya. Foreign names and historical groups can make excellent chapter names

Color wise i was thinking Just full black with red chapter badge; The Chapter badge could be in the shape of a trophy. As for trophies i was thinking mainly purity seals and also the larger purity seals like the one
in the combat squad picture and i am considering on whether or not to use robes.

That's a decent colour scheme there mate

if you're gonna use robes, I'd advise to use them sparingly, as to not make them look generic, just my 2p

Skull Bearers?

You know, the Silver Skulls used to be known for taking heads. They could be a successor chapter.

If they collect trophies such as enemies heads maybe they are native in respects? Maybe name that after a Native American tribe. ( in respect)

Mayeb Red Seminoles or something. Or Red Aztecs.

Also i was thinking of using older modeled armors like the maximus or heresy mks

One of the names I was going to do for my Dark Angels Successors was "Argent Hunters".

Use that if you want. The "Argent" part implies nobility that the Astartes are known for, but the "Hunters" part implies a savagery and barbarism that makes trophy taking acceptable.

It's fun for the whole family!
