Holy... I think that's the most expensive single figure I've seen on Ebay.
Here's a listing that comes up every so often, and not at as stupid price as I've seen before either.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321371685691?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&fromMakeTrack=true
100 quid for shipping though, which I actually find not outrageous for something like this. Anybody know how much this thing weighs? I did see once, but I can't remember now.

Now that's more in line with that I'm used to seeing unfortunately.
Yeah and that weight doesn't seem right? Maybe my memory is at fault.
One more as I'm here:

Of course its well painted, but not sure what he was thinking when he built the Rhino...

At least it is not pro-painted and well enough for playing, i kind off like the way he used dreadnought and landraider parts on the Rhino

and people want to talk about miniatures being hypersexualized or having unnecessary boobplate or unrealistic blah blah blah when THIS exists....

I'm not sure it needed to exist, but the phenomena of pointlessly sexualised female minis isn't exclusive to eBay...
Speaking of odd auctions, I wish I could find it but I was skimming a vintage paint auction where the seller used the expression, "some are more moist than others." I think that's delightful in some strange way.

The amount of people selling 2014 space hulks above retail when they are still in stock on the GW website is amazing.
I don't know if I should let them know, or if it is naïve to think they don't already.

That's like half of the sisters of battle auctions. Most of them, you can get a brand new mini direct from gw for cheaper.

In case anyone else has this problem;
Miniatures sub-category in Toys and Games for ebay has been moved.
Instead of Toys and Games > Miniatures
It is now Toys and Games > Games > Miniatures
I thought I was going mad when I couldn't find it on my phone

I find that oddly appealing, not sure why. Of course with that much paint on it, it should have at least 5++.

Check out the Las cannons, and turret.
I honestly thought about buying this, but I can't figure out what the 'glue' used is. Afraid one would destroy the model trying to get it apart.

I think the point of a free mini becomes pointless when you pay 4x the cost of retail for the item it's attached to...
Especially when the two important parts are the mini and the rules which are in the box set and free online. And the mini is in the box set too. Chances are, if you want that mini, you either plan to get the box set too, or are only interested in the idea of painting it.

People were using the issue as a quick way to increase their squads without finding someone else who bought the starter. Though that price is ludicrous. I have no idea how it's got so high.

ONLY $385!!
Pro Painted to a superb standard. Heavy conversion done with putty and green stuff, some repairs have been made over the years. Still looks amazing,
