This is the model that I am working on for the up and coming gamesday. This model was inspired by a few things.

The first is the headlines in the Philadelphia Daily news. "Home grown not store bought" was the headline for when the Philaldelphia Phillies were playing the New York Yankees. I thought of that headline in warhammer terms when it comes to soul grinders. All of the ruinious powers go to the Hell Forge to obtain their soul grinders, I made Slaanesh grow his own.

Next was dungeons and Dragons Loth. Goddess of Spiders and the Spider Queen.

Then I thought who else has done this before... its different so why not try.

This model is not complete. I need to add more greenstuff to the mandible and then the scenic base that I am making for it.

This is somewhat similar to the model in the OP, but with a Defiler body instead of a Spider.

Man, that looks awesome! I recognize the Arachnarok body, but what model is the torso from? Does the drider theme carry throughout the army? I could definitely picture Daemonette torsos on Spider Rider bodies for Seekers. Just a tought...
Anyway, I can't wait to see some paint on this! Keep up the good work.

Coolyo294 ive seen it abillion times but between tyranids eldar chaos and imperial guard i dont have the money to buy it.

Very nice work, particularly with the sculpting. My one criticism is I feel the body of the Keeper should be a bit taller, so as to stand out more from the spider body.

Can't wait to see it painted!

Like it lots, except the arms which dangle back between the legs - could they be reposed, e.g. waving around over the head perhaps?

The Torso is the Forgeworld Keeper of Secrets. Such a pretty model. A couple people that I knew flippied that I cut it up for this project lol I love that reaction

I wasn't certain if it was or not. Having took a saw to a Heirodule in the past, I can't really join the queue - but I'm certainly looking forward to seeing how this project progresses.

If you think about something the is home grown by Nurgle then I can see a Daemon Prince and a maggot habrid. The Torso could be ether the nurgle daemon prince or greater daemon and the body you can paper masha' with balloons, newspaper, and elmers glue. It will be less costly then my model but just as sickly as grandpa nurgle likes it

I am a sick little monkey and noticed the fanged cooch almost straight away... I am an adult and do not find this offensive because it is completely in keeping with the character of the model and theme.

If anyone is offended I would suggest they need to get a life... If it worries you too much why not model on a really thin pair of panties out of greenstuff so that you can still see the teeth underneath
