Video will most likely contain some course language.

G'day guys this is another month old video.

We'll be uploading a one take video on Friday night to show were our armies are at, I know my Orcs & Goblins are good to go fully painted, and from what the rest of the boys have been telling me this week. they will be too.

Our lists have changed considerably since filming these videos.

great game boyz.

I was shocked to see how well a WOC army with just 4 units(Not counting leaders of course) performed. Hard hitting guys right there.

Thank God those spear chukkas are cheap or I would say drop em like a bad habit.

Isn't the Curse of the Bad Moon a vortex? Which means the template starts in contact with the caster, not any point on the table, and travels X" in a straight line from there. I could be wrong though, this is the second time I've seen people play the spell this way (which is a MUCH deadlier way!)

Cheers for the reports lads, good luck at the tournament.

Vortices only do that when you roll a misfire. Otherwise it pops up on any point of the table.

*drags his massive undying bulk over to The Bookshelf of Damnation, cracks open the O&G armybook*

So. Curse of da Bad Moon is in fact classed as a magical vortex. BRB 31 tells us how a vortex is placed in contact with the caster and in his/her front arc, before going wherever it goes. Hence, you do not get to place the template across the board and sweep through entire armies - which is what people were doing with purple sun back before we all read the rules all the way Instead you're either hoping for some long scatters / getting in the way of incoming baddies, or obliterating dudes right in front of your caster (or to the side of his unit, remember he can fling the template perpendicularly once it's placed in his front arc).

*thinks about returning the book to The Bookshelf of Damnation himself, but instead summons a minion to do it*

It's funny the sheer number of people who played it this way incorrectly for a pretty long time... before we all got to reading. Or, most of us anyway . I still find myself mixing rules and need to give the book a good solid read-through before a tourney at the end of the month... problem is, I always get bored in the sections I know well, and stop reading before I get to the "iffy" parts...

Good game guys, but from the looks of things, the WoC player cant roll saves for !!

Shame that Curse was done wrong, it seemed to really rip those warriors apart. Still ,we all live and learn.

Just thought I would apologise to our viewers, we got that vortex thing wrong, the beauty of us doing these battle reports is indeed people pointing out stuff we've done wrong, and we never make those mistakes again which is improving all of us as gamers.

So while it may be annoying to watch us stuff so much up, hopefully you can still enjoy our reports as we continue to improve.
Thanks again for watching!
