Small Wyrm of Slaanesh

Greeting all
Thought of sharing this project as it comes to life here
The Primarch Project:
I have been working on a personal project for some time now and as a big fan of the Warhammer 40K universe i started with painting some key character, developing the concept later to focus it on painting the Primarchs. I have finished three Primarchs so far, The XI which was the setup to the project, and my first complete piece from the 40K universe. The VIII, one of my personal favorite, i love Konrad Curze and i believe he is one of the best Primarchs ever lived. And finally comes the XIV, the Death Lord.
I am still in the beginning of the project, and i hope that i would be able to finish all of the Primarchs. Hope you like the work
C&C are more than welcome
The XI Primarch
Number XI crashed into an ocean world, risking being drowned, he was saved by sea hunters and been raised by them. Living in a solidarity society of both humans and aliens, XI didn’t take much time to become the king of hunters. Later XI was found by the God Emperor and accepted to serve the Imperium of Mankind but not for a long, when he was accused of heresy for supporting a Craftworld in a conflict long forgotten, he and his legion were cast out from the Imperium by his father the Emperor to be forgotten just like his brother the Second.
Now thousands of light years away from the Imperium, XI fights his way through with his legion allied with the Eldars.
This is my attempt to create a concept for one of the Unknown Primarchs from the universe of Warhammer 40k.
The VIII Primarch
Konrad Curze, The Night Haunter son of the Emperor of Mankind.
The XIV Primarch
Mortarion, XIV Primarch, the Death Lord, son of the Emperor of Mankind, Leader of the Death Guard Legion, Chosen son of Father Nurgle. ruler of the Plague Planet.
------
again i hope you like the work
c&c are more than welcome

Nice art and i really like the concept of the lost primarch although it sort of reminds me of the blood gorgons, their armor is also decorated with sea life and so does their mutations...

@Viersche ~ Thanx mate :-D good hint, i didnt really know much about Blood Gorgons they sound like an interesting chapter :O
@Son Of Horus ~ thanx brother yes i am working on the concept for the next Primarch
@Lobukia ~ Glade you liked the work <3 yes i have been told that Guilliman would make a nice piece, but i dont have enough information on him... i kind of take my inspiration from novels i read, i just feel that by doing that i can somehow make the character justice (or give them justice... not sure if i got the term right ) so probable Guilliman would have to wait for a while >_<
@Warboss ZanZag ~ Thanx mate <3 most appreciated

@Eldrad40k ~ Hey thanx
@Corrode ~ yes ... these two need more research from my side hmmmmm
@blood reaper ~ Thanx mate so glade you liked the work, i chose to go with a more steam-punk kind of approach rather than the flesh rotting kind of appearance, if Mortarion is the favored son of Nurgle then he must have given him something higher than just a rotting flesh. (i hope that make any since ) . Angron will deferentially make an epic piece .... yeah he is special.
@Relapse ~ thanx bro well i have been doing digital painting for a couple of years now and i am a concept/game designer you can check my website.. or actually a blog where i keep all my WIPs and game ideas concepts and stuff

I think I know what you've been trying to do, but I don't think it fits as a cover
It doesn't show off Grey Knights. It shows off Daemons and, to a lesser degree, a valiant, embattled Daemonhunter (on the defensive no less) who also happens to be Grey Knight. The best fluff-change GW ever did was to down of the focus on Daemonhunters and up the focus on Grey (mystic, secretive, sci-fi) Knights.

Oh yes yes you are absolutely right. the main focus my not be on the GK, although this could be altered, but its kind of my fist fighting scene and the challenge was to squeeze all the action in to the slandered cover size of a novel. am not so into GKs more like Chaos heretic so maybe that explains it

I prefer it to most of the recent invincible Grey Knight fluff. It's more like the original 40k fluff. Though I will say, good luck getting the two half naked woman like things past the censors if you ever put this on a book cover.
