So with all the hubbub of moving house I unearthed a ton of unbuilt Chaos and Imperial marine parts, so I set out to see what I could do with them.
I've always liked the idea of Nurgle and the Death Guard, so I bought paints, green stuff and modelling supplies and set about the task of building them into a useable force.

Each model will be unique within the force, nothing will be the same, and I plan to order a ton of classic models to fill out the force.
I'm going with the lipped Warmachine style bases for the majority, I really prefer these bases.

Also, check out my swap shop thread here, try help me out with some Nurgle bitz!

Looking fantastic so far, keep it up. Using the fanatasy lord was somthing I considered too, maybe adding shoulder pads would make him look more like a marine and maybe an old helmet or somthing.

Your Lord looks great! And I really like your bases, they add some really nice contrast. How are they size-wise?

@moonshine Yes! I tried to add the shoulder pad on his right arm, but his arm is a lot wider than the space in a conventional Marine pad, I just wasn't game for all that cutting and chipping haha.

@Trondar the inner rim of the base is about the same size as a GW 25mm base.

@OrangePine Thank you, it's something I'm hoping to keep up throughout the army.

Will have an update tomorrow with my true-scale "fly" lord, some more marines and hopefully a Chaos Dread with sores and stuff.

Cheers man, I'm trying to use that on every model if I can, as the method I use for the armour isn't always spot on and can cause a lot of different colour combinations and shades, it's kinda gonna be the defining thing that ties everything together :')

Thank you both very much, high praise indeed!

Had a few problems with my internet the past few days, looking to get an update in early tomorrow. Thank you all for the support!

Okay, so I've finally got onto some sort of internet connection in order to post an update.

I've finished my final 2 Plague Marines for my first 7-man squad, and have the next 3 marines for my second squad assembled.

I also have some pictures of my "Fly" chaos lord, and my PIP dreadnought.

I've also started working on some noise marines with guitars, for a Slaaneshi army that's been in the pipeline for quite some time, I'll post some pictures in my next update (maybe around Saturday/Sunday)

I'm getting hold of some more chaos marines to convert on Wednesday, in the form of a chaos battleforce. Some stuff will be used for my Slaaneshi noise marine "guitar" army, but a few more will go towards my Nurgle force, trying to get them to two hqs and 2 troops choices each so I can add units to them at a similar pace.

So, pictures. C+C is appreciated.

So last night I started work on this guy, my first noise marine, so I thought I'd show you guys what I'd come up with early.
I also have a further 5 marines and a Lord in the pipeline for these, so C+C would be useful on my first one!

Each squad will have a different animal fur pattern to set them apart, the first being tiger fur.

Great Marines. They have a lot of character; they all look unique, they're all well painted and they're all extremely well converted. Keep up the good work.

@jahzra Haha I'm not that good! I look forward to seeing your Orks when you get them sorted!

Okay, quite a large update on my Slaanesh stuff today, finished painting another Noise Marine, and took pictures of the other 10 I have assembled, 4 of which are undercoated, 6 of which are just assembled.

May have another update around Monday, hope to get another 2 Marines painted, and then another 4 marines built, to go with another Blastmaster marine, and champion when I get hold of a Blastmaster and Doom Siren.

Excuse the horrible pictures, it was dark when I took them :')

A little bit of a late update due to Sky internet being a big pile of $%*£.

Managed to get my first until painted to a tabletop standard, started work on their Rhino. Plan to finish the rhino and my Lord before Sunday, and then get my second unit and their Rhino done, as I have a 500 pts game in 2 weeks I wanna be ready for haha!

My list is gonna be:
Lord, Daemon Weapon
6 Noise Marines in a Rhino. Blastmaster. Champ with Doom Siren and PF. 4 Sonic Blasters.
6 Noise Marines in a Rhino. Blastmaster. Champ with Doom Siren and PF. 4 Sonic Blasters.

Probably won't be competitive at all but who knows?

So, have some pictures. I'll take some proper ones outside tomorrow, but i just wanted to make it look like i was doing something
C+C welcome as usual x

I dig the ribcage shoulder pad, where did that bit come from? The rocker with his head thrown back is... perfect. You need a couple guys with long hair whipping it around in a circle.. lol
