Looks like AoW is finally making "not skaven"

From the depths of the Underworld, comes a new hero, a Vermin Clan Lord.
The miniature has been sculpted by me (Felix Paniagua) , based on a concept art by Daniel Heredia.

The miniature can be assembled with four different weapon combos, two hand weapons, halberd & hand weapon, hand weapon & shield or halberd & shield.

I'd like to see a better angle, but that's a nice model.

I agree. SO far Im very impressed with the AoW stuff. Skaven folks should be thrilled with this. It gives me even more temptation to get some Skaven going...sadly Skaven fall into the same issue as Dwarves...I hate painting small minis. Oh well, someday Im sure Ill give in. Between this guy, the new Skaven, Warhammer forge CHaos dwarves, and Mantics Forgefathers...Im getting little mini fever...dammit...

I've got almost all the AoW minis and they are beautiful....need this one too

"Orkses never lost a battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!"

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

I like the pose and what I can see of the face. The fur is very chunky, though.

Chunky fur is better than BaneLegions' naked rat direction, IMO.

The release might as well say “For those of you that missed Games Day this year and couldn’t get the Ltd. Ed. Skaven Lord... well here’s our version!”.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that though – AoW stuff is almost always amazing.

Nice fig, had I still got my Skaven army I'd have picked it up for sure.

Nice sculpt, but this must be the 15th Skaven Warlord with boss pole and his left foot in front by now, not to mention the 4-6 ones very Skaven player has from the starter box.

The alternate weapons is the real boon.
Something GW metal or finecast models for characters tend not to have.

Agree that the fur is a bit chunky, but otherwise superb.

Agreed it looks more like a dog. Not the best AoW sculpt IMO.

Wet rat fur does seem to clump into larger looking strands.

Maybe not fat fur thick, but thicker than sleek.
