Found deep in Warseers Dreadfleet discussion, reliable rumourmongers Hastings and Harry are dropping hints about a Bloodbowl rerelease coming next year (just in time for its 25th anniversary). There's also a nudge that another mystery game is also being worked on.

(slow, huge, happy gif removed by mod as their server is overloaded) No, seriously, I'd kill for a Space Marine remake with new titans. Bloodbowl I could live without, though if they do release it, I'll buy it anyway. I bought Dreadfleet FFS.

Nobody states that Epic is being worked on anywhere in that thread, the only posts about Epic are wishlisting.
Read more closely before getting excited, the hints are all blood bowl.
Just to make that clear, there are zero rumours about Epic. None.

Cripes! Scarletsquig is right. Harry mentions the next game AFTER Bloodbowl is being worked on, but it's Erasmus_p_Wattle that hints it's Epic. I have no idea of his rumour record. Will get the first post edited. Sorry guys!

Blood bowl is a 'Shut up and take my money' release if true, just because I'd love to see what detail they could put into plastics via their current technology for the game.

^ Agreed on blood bowl. Would love for it to be non-limited though.
I don't think they need to be concerned about sales for blood bowl not hitting targets, they really should just release it as a simple update to the boxed game that they currently still sell on their website... new art etc.
Or maybe they could do a "deluxe" version of the box that is limited, and comes with plastic dugouts, an extra sprue of cheerleaders and other non-essential-but-nice extras that will be removed from the box once it sells out.
I also think both Mordheim and Necromunda would be great candidates.
Think of today's plastic tech. Each of the 6 core Necromunda gangs could be released as 5-man boxes with tons of components, similar to the imperial guard command squad boxes.
Add in the rulebook, a new piece of modular "underhive" plastic terrain, and that's the entire game completely re-released in a product line that would take up barely any space on the shelves. (6 small boxes, one big one).
Not to mention the amount of imperial guard players who would start making entire guard armies out of the necromunda kits (escher especially)... if I were GW, I would be all over that due to the crossover sales potential.

For me that would be loads of kits sold, hell even if it was just Orlock and Goliath I'd get them for conversions.
Sadly I don't see it happening.

You should be able to use your board, you just need a custom passing template. We are still using the occasional Astrogranite board or even a custom 40mm board in our local games.
Super excited about the potential for BB next year. BB getting the SpaceHulk treatment (plastic, quality board, new rulebook)? YES PLEASE!

Blood bowl? I'll be in my bunk.
So I guess the real question is will they be redoing all the teams in plastic or resin with new sculpts or will it just be a updated box set, I don't really care since I have my team of Norse already converted from marauders but i think other people will.

I think the best we can hope for is some sort of reworking of ADEPTUS TITANICUS - especially if it is a 'one off' type of game...
Titans vs. Titans in a "Dreadfleet" like of setup... nice!

Awesome though a rerelesae of Adeptus Titanicus would be , if if followes current trends the Eldar would get 2 Titans, the Dark Eldar maybe 1, the Orks and Nids 1 or 2 at most, the Necrons and Tau none, and the the IOm would get 56 slightly different variants, all better than the other races...
A oneoff like Dread fleet, with say 3 titans for each race, all different i would buy in a heartbeat, if the game was solidly written and the models were nice.
IOM- Warhound, Reaver, Warlord (preferably the older, curved style, not the brick on legs look)
Eldar - Phantom, Revanant, Warlock
Dark Eldar - ?
Necrons - ?
Nids - assorted interesting biotitans
Tau ?
It would be pretty awesome

The Viletide: Daemons of Nurgle/Deathguard: 7400 pts
Disclples of the Dragon - Ad Mech - about 2000 pts

Circle Oroboros - 300 Pts or so
Menoth - 300+ pts

Tau don't do Titans according to the various Codeci, they see the idea as ridiculous when they can use aircraft to do the same thing regarding the delivery of firepower.

Games Workshop really doesn't understand it's ture fanbase do they?
I believe that existing players would be dishing out more cash for the speciallist range, than GW's new 13 year old kids who buy a box set or two before they get bored and stop buying.
GW says it isn't cost effective to update the speicalist range but they are completely wrong IMHO.

Honestly, I'd really only be interested in Blood Bowl if it supported the older teams in addition to the 2 in the stand alone box. That's the reason I've yet to buy Grind from PP: Taking it from a set of rules that included every 'Jack to that point with Coachcasters and the 5 WM factions(Ret didn't exist yet) and turning it into a stand alone game with no expansions that limited you to Khador and Cygnar where the only "team building" is what arms to give each 'Jack for that game.

Bloodbowl was my first GW game and I think probably my favorite. Two or three of my oldest friends got into the hobby by being introduced to Bloodbowl and now also play 40k and fantasy. It remains the only game GW has made that my friends who weren't "into the hobby" would even try, and they all loved it and joined a league we started. This would be great news!

I wonder why won't they give the specialist games to Forge World? I'd think a good Epic lineup would sell decently well, not to mention all the characterful stuff they could do for Mordheim or Necromunda.
