In the Ring of Debris Around Uranus

Lirensheàl was present on the planet Pegasus 3 for two purposes. One was to honor an agreement that the “Monkeighs” on this planet had made to the Craftworld on Saim-Hann 200 years ago. No time at all in the life of an Eldar. However, Lirensheàl remembered it when he was a young 100 human years, he was a member of the Dire Avenger Aspect Shrine and had fought here side by side with the “Monkeighs” to stop the taint of “she who thirsts”, from gaining a permanent foothold on this world. Though it may seem barbaric or primitive, Lirensheàl knew that the true path to Eldar’s return to glory was through honor, strength, and integrity. To many other craft worlds the humans were pawns to be used only to better only the Eldar race. The Craftworld of Saim-Hann believed in preserving the Eldar race, but not at the cost lives, even humans to be recklessly spent. No now the seers had seen on the skene, that the Adeptes Astartes Space Wolves would come to this planet with their mutated ‘wulfen’ and bring the taint of chaos to this world once again. A small group of ‘Wolves’ had been sent to this planet and so only a small scout party had been sent to aid the Imperial “Monkeighs” rid the planet of the Space Wolves. Apparently these ‘Wolves’ had not been sanctioned by their Imperium to come to this planet, though it seems that they had decided to come on their own for some reason. It mattered little to Lirensheàl. He did not care for the squabbling of the Imperium. He only cared that he came to honor an agreement made by his craft world and to stop “she who thirsts”. The word had been received it was time to move out with his temporary allies.

The following is the battle report

Post Battle Craftworld Saim-Hann near the dome of crystal sears

Lirensheàl sat meditating in his chambers, trying to reflect on what had gone wrong with the battle. He had lost so many men and had failed to stop the influx of the ‘Wolves’. It remained to be seen whether more Eldar would be sent to Pegasus 3 to deal with the ‘Wolves’. In the meantime Lirensheàl visited the skene to try to divine what the possible futures could arise due to his failure in the previous battle.

Yup we got owned, but with us having so many kill points to give up it was a little bit more unlucky to have annihilation. And thanks to my seer council not being able to get fortune up before getting pummeled and then fleeing off the board like sissies.... oh, well. Live and learn.

Thanks for the post. There was really only one place that they could come on the board and hide and get cover, however enough could see them. They had the bike 3 up save from turbo boosting, but I rolled really bad. If I would have come in on the other side, he still would have shot at my squad, as he had 2 long fang squads, demolisher, razorback -las cannon and missile launchers in his terminator squads. He did not want things to get in behind him and thus the Eldar were the prime choices for most of his guns.

Good batrep Eiluj, they're getting better all the time.

Two small armies always have issues when facing a single force... just seems to work out that way usually.

That and when a quarter of your army dies from 2 long fang squads before they can do anything and your leman russ tanks do absolutely nothing, but it happens

You are right... harder esp if have to follow normal force organization chart.. If the two teams can play from 1 then I think they have a more equal shot, esp if teams compliment each other well. Take care and thanks for looking at the BATREP.

Yep, I think you're right. You might suggest that for your next game. The other option of course is for both of you to max out the same category and just spam the heck out of him (6 heavy slots for example). That might work too.
