So I recently built a gaming table for my house, and seeing as I am way to broke to buy GW's city fight terrain, I am making some from scratch.
Heres the first piece I completed, a promethium filling station. Built from 2 piroutte cookie tins, some insulation foam for the wall, stripped pipe cleaners for the concertina wire, and various bits. Let me know what you think.

Great idea of the stripped pipe cleaners! I am borrowing that idea for sure. Walls and talks look really good as well, but man is that alot of fuel, I'd want to stand nowhere within a few blocks of that during a firefight

Nicely done! Building your own terrain is so much more fun than buying it. Looking forward to seeing more

Fantastic! Looks very functional too with enough room to accomodate a squad.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. feel free to steal whatever ideas you want from it, most of them I got from other people anyhow! For example the pipe cleaners for razor wire. Don't remember where I saw that one, but thanks to whoever I nabbed it from. I stripped them by burning off the fluff over a candle. If you try stripping it that way just make sure to do it outside as it does stink, and I'm guessing the fumes are not so good for you.

I love the pipe cleaner wires. I use the same thing myself for razorwire or conduits.
