Just wanted to throw a quick photo up of my WIP Ork Warboss. I'm using him in an upcoming GW event in Bear, DE replaying the Battle of Ullanor. This guy will be the Ork Warlord who fought Horus. The ammo runt belongs to him and there is a standard boy next to him for comparison.
Feedback please!!!

Seriously, though, the build looks great. If the paint does it any justice, you'll have on hell of a boss on your hands.

How many Space Marines does it take to screw in a lightbulb.
6, 1 techpriest and 5 tacticals that stand around trying to pose like badasses. 
An Ork, Space Marine and Eldar are walking down the road. They see a Chaos portal that has a sign on it. It says: 'say what is true or be sucked in'. The Space Marine says: "I think I'm the bravest" and walks past safely, the Eldar says: "I think I'm the most agile" and walks past safely. The Ork says: "Me thinks..." and gets sucked into the portal.

I did that same thing just with different ork bits! Golgfag Maneater's (ogre kingdoms character) body works perfect for a ork warboss!

Not a fan of the head choice: it is one of my least fav head bits (the "snorkel" and Cyclops new wave glasses are a little too much imho).
Also this guy deserves an iron gob...

I did make him. I used that head because it's what I had available. I'm giving him a Cybork body in game and wanted it to be WYSIWYG. I'm going with a mek themed list, so I wanted him to look a little like his main mek had jazzed him up a little.

I haven't had a chance to paint this guy yet, but he is primed and ready for painting. I've been working on getting the rest of the starter army assembled and painted. This is really going to just be a fun army that's part of a not very competitive escalation league at a local gaming store. Sorry for the crap pictures. I need to get a new camera and these are iPhone pics with bad lighting. Huzzah for mediocrity! lol
Anyways, the Big Mek will be the HQ for the first 500 points until he's joined by the big Warboss in the first 250 point escalation. Here's the Mek with some paint on him and then the whole army minus the Warboss.

Conduct While Gaming
While rolling a die, do not say, “Anything but a 1!” unless you wish the die to come up as 1. Any other such attempts to anger the “Dice Gods” will result in the existential equivalent of continuously flipping a coin and having it come up heads every time (for reference, see Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead). Your dice will be cursed to roll ones for everything other than morale checks, which will come up sixes.
ORK PLAYERS HAVE A LIMIT OF 1 SCREAMS OF WAAAAAAGH PER HOUR. violators will be forced to play tau.
Players with chimeras and las weapons shall pronounce chimera ki-mere-uh, not chim-ere-uh. Violators will be forced to play nothing but world eaters. Non-40k personnel must purchase and build a chimera. |

It began life as a Warhammer Fantasy Ogre Kingdoms Golfag Maneater model. Pretty cool. All of the orky bitz came from the Nobz box.
