Painted up some Nobz for a friend of mine. I have recently discovered weathering powders, and I am hoping they are non-toxic as I may have inhaled quite a bit during application.

How easy did you find the weathering powders to work with?
Great work, by the way.

While these are good, I hope your friend does not wish to game with them.
Even when using a "setting agent" for the powders (effectively chalk/calcium oxides) too much handling can still rub them off and ruin your work

those are fantastic. The rust effect is a perfect match for orcs. Is one of those Nobz smoking diesel fuel?

Very easy, used an eye liner brush to dab it on, wet q-tip to wipe off screwups.

They got both Clear Enamel and Dullcote on top. Darkens the powder a bit but should keep everything in place.

The brand is AIM Products, which appears to be a local company. Like, I'm betting this label was printed on a crappy injket in someone's basement. I found it at my FLGS when looking for Rustall. Product # 2901 here: http://www.aimprodx.com/index.php?page=order

Yeah, pretty much. I started by priming Chaos Black, then dry brushing Boltgun Metal. I got 2 shades of rust so I applied different shades to different panels, then highlighted the edges, rivets and other "worn" areas with Mithril Silver. Really the hardest part is keeping it off the stuff you don't want it on since the powder is so.. powdery.
Next time I get my rust on I'll grab some pictures and post a tutorial. A gang of rusty bikers would look pretty tight!

I am jealous of your rust effect. I am not too good at it so I just kinda gave up haha. I just use an 'alternative metal' look more my orks. They look greasy and oily and stained rather than rusty. oh well.
I really like the Nob with the diesel powered helmet goggles combo. Looks awesome.
