Well after alot of brainstorming I decided what I want to do with all my forgeworld spacemarine models and that's nightlords, the downfall is I don't want them all to be in mk 3 suits so I'm getting 25 mk 4 and 25 mk 5 to mix it up. I'm also ordering ten sets of the nightlords bitz from gw but of course that's going to be a nice wait till then though I started on my contempt or using liquid green stuff which at first I was having some problems but then have already got an hold of it. Liquid Greenstuff's not really suitable for sculpting. I worry that your batwings will shluff off at some inopportune time.

It would be significantly more work, but if you could show that the sentinel cab is being crushed underfoot I think it would really add a lot to the weight and menace of the model.

unfortently its hard to see the hull of the sentinel is bent where the contempts foot is plus it is just just using the sentinel as a stepping stone to get to its victims the sentinel is basically something that's been dead but I'll see what I can do with damaging the contempt

How does this look with the sentinel

I think the sculpting work you've done has really given it the night lords feel! How is the liquid GS to work with?

A little CC: it kinda looks like he's falling over, the way he's angled and with his arms out like that. Is there a way that you could level him out some? Maybe by what plastictrees was talking about and crushing the sentinel cab more...

Liquid gs is at first a little picky with giving you the effects you want but after getting used to it is like a walk through the park, it does help to draw what you want with a pencil that way its just tracing. Also unfortently the glue I use is hard as all hell to undue so I can't really readjust his foot if I were to flatten the sentinels cab

Green stuff is great but i see what rawson is saying about looking like he's trying to keep from falling down. I like the chain too, by the way.

I'm really impressed by your GS work especially the wings on the chest. I have to agree with rawson that he looks like he's about to fall over though.

Alright guys you all were an inch from being put on my hit list if the damage to the contempt was unable to be fixed but the gods smile upon your souls today unfortently though I had to sacrifice another sentinel in order to straighten his pose out without damaging it for good so here's the change to the contempts pose and this sentinel had some different damage effects to it

Great work so far. Painting will be the true test of your skills.

Though using Liquid Green Stuff to litterally layer on the effect of the bat wings and the other designs is amazing. I believe your one of the first to actually show this and I suggest you do a tutorial on this at some point in the near future.

My only real annoyance are the skulls. They seem just a tad to high for Nightlords symbols. It is a great use of the WFB skeletons from the vampire counts though.

The bases need a bit of work as well. I suggest adding the actual basing material to the bases prior to primering so that you can drybrush what ever look you want on them.

So far so good - the additions you've made to the Contemptor are nice indeed!

Now, I see what you're going for in terms of striding across some battlefield wreckage, but I think you might want to tone it down a bit.

It is somewhat distracting and a bit over the top - something flatter and lower profile will help in many ways, not to mention also not making the already larger Contemptor stick out even more on the battlefield!
