This is one of my first Land Raiders. I am trying my hand at green stuff. The Blackmane wolf pelt on top is sculpted. I added teeth to the front ramp to give it that Ragnar savage feel. The paint job is not the best I suck at painting tanks .

It feels a bit to Orky due to the teeth, but other than that, looks fine!

I'm loving that yellow.

My only issue (& it stands for many peoples painting when doing wolves) is that it's to monochrome.

Basically you dry brush until it's very pale then use sucessive colour washes to gradually darken the doggy as you go from belly to spine.

Since I'm terrible at GS, I have to applaud you. You did a good job to get all those pelts on there man.

The only thing I feel it's missing is runes. Lots and lots of runes.
After all, if this was Blackmane's personal ride into battle, it'd be fitting.

I think it looks great, excellent work. I would agree with Bubber about the wolf pelt though. Something like that will make it look more fitting.

Yes normaly I would agree with you on the painting on the wolf. I kept him black to show that he is a Blackmane wolf as discribed in the Space Wolves codex. If you take a look at my Thunderwolf cal in my other post you can see that I painted them to what you are talking abbout.

The whole model looks really good. I think the wolfpelt is great.

I thought wolves could be almost overall "black" as well.

I'm loving the wolf pelt. Especially the fact that he is holding the MM in one of his paw's. And the painting is pretty legit, don't be ashamed of it. Though I agree the teeth are a little orky.

Lol there are more wolf teeth on space wolves then there are on orks could just be me.

Well if its Ragnar's Land Raider, I would fully expect a Blackmaned wolf. So I would expect either an all black wolf or one that is very dark. For other land raiders that do not belong to Ragnar, I wouldn't have this expectation.

A bit too wolf wolf of the wolf wolf for my tastes. I might have added more runes and not-wolf charms to it to balance it out.

Paint job's a good'un, though.

Put some more weathering on it and it look GREAT!!

Thanks. I could have put some runes on it. But was looking for more of a Ragnar look not a Rune priest look.
