Hello.

I begin the new project "Malcador - T-28".

I want to connect in one model these two tanks:

These are chassis details:

In this photo the size of the chassis of the future tank (I compare to chassis Leman Russ) is visible.

I didn't know you were on Dakka Dimetry.
I watch all the threads you make on the Ammobunker.
You are such a great modelist.

I can't wait to see how he works the magic of fitting the smaller turrets on the upper deck and the main gun to make it all work together!

Hello.

Thanks all for responses about my new project.

My intention:

- The chassis as at Malcador
- Tank casing should contain the characteristic details of case T-28: engine cooling, an exhaust system, a superstructure under principal turret.
- Layout and a type turret - as on tank T-28

Should be an interesting build to follow. Looking forward to watching the tank take shape.

Side note: I hated using the T-28 in World of Tanks. It was like driving a boat with treads. Took forever to get the XP to unlock the KV-1.

This should all come out quite interesting and cool for such a conversion.

Hello.

Unfortunately, time for a hobby very much does not suffice.

I continue to make the tank chassis:

Found such turret (tank BT-7A scale 1:35):

I plan to add joint welds and rivets.
Dear colleagues, I want to hear your opinion - whether it is possible to apply it for Warhammer?

Dmitry.

Looks cool
The only way it could be cooler is if you were making a T-35. That is the one with 5 turrets, right?

If memory serves, the prototype they built ended up destroying itself when a rear turret shot the back of one of the forward turrets.

the turret of course could be used for 40k... i see no point why not...also very good sanded down version of a turret... i am eager to know what you plan to add there...as the earlier setup must have not been good enough for you...

Originally the Malcador has a tower with limited traverse, so no real turret at all Vik.His version will allow 360 degree weapon traverse I think,,,,if I understand his plans

Hello.

Turret will settle down as on tank T-28. To look they it will be similar Т-28.

Nowlan, tank T-35 was real fighting vehicle and even participated in the Second World War. However, the tank has appeared insufficiently powerful for real operations. All tanks T-35 were lost or have been thrown in a war initial stage.

In my opinion, such kind of the tank very much will approach for Warhammer.

Dmitry.

Hey there, it would make a nice heavy/super-heavy tank

It appears I was thinking of another muti-turreted soviet tank design that never actually existed.

If the t-35 failed during Barbarossa, I'd hate to think of what a late-war german tank, like a Tiger I/Panther/Tiger II, would do to it.

Т-35 It was made in 1933-1939. It wasn't the unique multi-turreted heavy tank in the world.

English tank Vickers Independent (1926):

English engineers of 6 years improved fighting properties of this tank, but it hasn't been accepted in army.

German tank Pzkpfw NbFz (1934):

These tanks have been constructed some. But they and haven't been used in operations. At the very beginning of the Second World War these tanks have been directed to Norway for intimidation of the peace population.

The Soviet engineers could create efficient (for that period of time) the tank and to arm with this tank army. Except Т-35 in 1939 experimental tanks SMK and Т-100 have been created. Both these of the tank passed fighting tests during the Soviet-Finnish war in 1940 (together with them took place test tank KV). These tanks haven't got To army.

Well Dimetry, I do like the work and research so far. I also was inspired by interwars period Soviet tank designs when I did this very first conversion and have made some fresh changes to it, such as the support buttress of this, I called the T-290. (like I said, it has some rough looks as it was a very fist attempt to make something different from the Leman Russ)
