I bought this fantastic model of a Greater Wardaemon from Ultraforge.
Seemed so badass that only one guy would do this model justice and that is The Daemon Prince Angron.
I always think a Daemon presense is corrupting in every way so I made the armor and sword a bit corroded.
I found this great reactive paint that produces a REAL patina or rust.
The rust one has micron sized pieces of iron or like metal in it the Patina uses real copper or brass.
They also come with a reacting agent that sets off the corrosing process.
I also used Dragonforge cabling for hid well cabling

I love it! The subtle tones between the musculature and the oxidised copper effect particularly add to the effect he presents.

Well done, you should be proud!

Keep it coming!

Some amazing work there, great use of the Ultraforge model, and love the Dread.

Just about finished the basecoat for the dread.
Hit the icon with the patina paint but went the old way for his bunny ears.
I felt there needed to be a little more yellow brass on him.

Here is the Dread as finished as he can be until the skull base comes in the mail.
Once based I plan on adding a little powder at the feet and maybe rainmarks

Who was I kidding I could'nt wait to weather him up.
You could'nt tell from looking but this guy had a frosting mishap with a bad can of Dullcote
Luckly I fixed it by sparying with gloss varnish to remove the frost the I gave him an Burnt Umber oil filter wash to tone it back down.
Once dry I then respray with a good can of Dullcote.
I then used light brown weathing powder for the bone dust.
I also had to redo the brass because the gloss killed it.
Now he is done and awaiting basing
