I guess I just wanted the flowing molten iron in the flesh. And I really like armor too look good also.

The stipling on his headgear is fantastic. Subtle and effective. The gems look great too, almost translucent. Great work!

It's a good piece but it would be better with a few things.
The Gems need highlights to show reflective capabilities unless they're matt finish Gems.

His Armour is fabulous except the back plate but that's probably just me, mabye OSL would rectify that.

I don't like his skin, he's very dark wheras he's meant to be glowing he is Lava have you seen Lava dark and not show light?

Disagree ! Take a look at some lava field photos - not gaming effects, real ones - The lava tends to only be bright and "fiery" as it penetrates either the head of the flow or when seen through holes in the crust. The idea of a dark surface with a lava sub-layer not only works well but is technically accurate. In fact even in foundries you can sometimes see a darker "scum" layer of lightweight slag form on the top of molten metal, which makes this kind of finish even more apt.

MY only critique would be that the metallics are a little bright by comparison, patricularly the silvers.

Other than that, a solid job that manages to walk away from the norm quite comfortably

Have you not noticed Its stagnant?

The Avatar is at war he's not going to be stagnant. He's a fiery embodyment of the Eldars rage. He's going to look like Lava that has Erupted and not cooled.

Solid and good work.
The craftsmanly skill you have employed reflects greatly upon your talent.

The miniature you chose, the colourscheme you put on him and the inspiration you used seems to be non-existent.

While executed on a decent (yet not exceedingly excellent) Level of craftsmanship, you remain uninspired and boring with your product.

There is alot going on, but I def like it, love the sword, and can see the how it took awhile to paint. Good job and 8/10 from me
