Just finished a pair of terminators with Cyclone Missile Launchers for my Black Templar forces. For fun, I modeled one with Grey Knight bits for the Deathwatch look. Feel free to comment or post suggestions for improvement.

So the Deathwatch looking shoulder pad is a Grey Knight Terminator shoulder pad? That's a great idea. I was looking for ways to model Deathwatch Terminator.

Yeah. The second I saw the Grey Knight PA and Terminator kits, my first thought was "Deathwatch bits!"

Sick Deathwatch arm. That's the best I've seen it done. It's usually all flashy, which I don't like. Yours is very muted and dull which I think fits. Mind sharing how you painted the gold and silver on that arm?

Sure.

I primed the mini black.

I used Reaper Master Series Honed Steel on the arm and shoulder trim. I washed that with Badab Black. I went back over the raised areas with Honed Steel again.

For the letters, I used Reaper Master Series Antique Gold. I tried to trace the letters as best I could. I lightly dry-brushed some of the letters. I then washed the letters with Devlan Mud and picked out a few letters with antique gold again.

Nice work Kronk! they are great! love the clean look of them both and even though the metal areas aren't prominent I must say what i see i like! it's great dull lustre you can paint, the blacks are nice to but that should go without saying eh! :-)
