When using combat squads, is it possible to leave 5/10 in reserve and deploy the second 5 on the table?
If so, and the squad has a dedicated transport, can 5 be deployed in the transport while the remainder of the squad is in reserve?
Can a combat squadded unit be deployed in two separate vehicles?
E.G. if I have 2 storm ravens and 10 marines, can 5 be deployed in one storm raven while the other 5 are in reserve in the second?
When Drop podding units, can 5 be deployed in the drop pod while 5 are deployed in a storm raven?
Deep Strike and Combat Squads - Can a combat squadded unit, say 10 terminators, be half deployed in a land raider and the second half deep strike? If so, does the land raider need to be selected as a dedicated transport, or can a heavy support slot vehicle be used?

No

No

Yes as long as one or both are undedicated.

No combat squadding allowed in reserve. If both Storm Ravens and the unit start on the table, they can be combat squadded into each.

No

You can combat squad into either dedicated (to them) or undedicated, it does not matter, but no reserving.

-----------------------

Combat squadding is an option available to a unit when it is deployed. You can elect not to deploy a unit and place it into reserve. Such units can't combat squad while in reserve, as they haven't been deployed. You can't deploy a unit, combat squad, and then pick up half of the unit and put it back into reserve. You can combat squad once you arrive from reserve, however you cannot have two combat squads existing in one vehicle, so any ten man unit in a vehicle put into reserve cannot combat squad in any way, as you may not disembark then combat squad. Drop Pods are an exception to that as stated in their rules. If you combat squad once you arrive from reserve, the two squads can enter the board in totally seperate locations. One die roll is used to bring them onto the table from reserves as you roll the die first, then make the decision to elect to combat squad. Remember the (at that point) complete unit placed into reserve must declare if Deepstriking or outflanking, so it is not possible to have 5 come on via Deepstrike and 5 come on via outflank, if such options was available to them. When you elect to combat squad in the deployment phase, each squad has the choice to be placed on it's own into any eligible vehicle, being a transport dedicated to them, or an undedicated vehicle like a Landraider or Stormraven.
